obviously Belichick feared the awesome talent that is Jason Campbell

Naw, it's really much simpler than that; Belicheat heard what Portis said about the Skins having the best talent in the NFL, and he was terrified that this juggernaut would put up a 38 point rally in the last couple-three minutes...

You can never be too safe when you're looking that offensive juggernaut in the eye... no lead is ever enough... :D

this is text book Joe Gibbs after a loss...I remember Gibbs doing the samething with Parcells after a Dallas win. Its a coward move by Gibbs that he has patented.

1) gibbs shook parcells hand

2) gibbs shook belichicks hand.

anything i missed?

I think it was the right move by Gibbs. I thought they were classless against us but this took the cake.

It was the right move for Gibbs...if he was a five-year-old!!!

Bottom line is most of the NFL has a long way to go to be able to compete with NE.

Well, fortunately for everyone, we're only through half of the season. As far as I know, they don't give out trophies for 8-0. They are playing awesome at this point, but they have yet to face any real adversity.

If they continue to play this way throughout the season and playoffs, everyone is in trouble. Having said that, I'd like to see that offense in the snow and cold and see what happens if Tom gets an injury. I'm still not sold on their D.

What happen to the Patriots if Tom get injured? What would happen to the Cowboys if Tony get injured? And it's really sad to think that their D is the weak point on their team. :(
This team is so fundamentally sound, nothing spectacular like the Rams. Like they say perfection is the most simplistic.
