this is a good Ranking for Karlaftis,i would definitely be interested in him in the 2nd RD,maybe even trade up a bit.at 24 i still like Green and Z Johnson but i love Hill too but i know the cowboys wont draft a safety in the 1st or 2nd or even 3rd RD.

I think I trust Gil a little more than most draftniks. Even though he’s like 120 years old now the dude knows football. Looking at that list Burks will be gone by 24. GB and Zona go right before us and need WR’s just to name a few.

Also, this is how the draft generally goes. We overvalue a lot of players and undervalue others and NFL teams are generally way ahead of us and media.

I think given centers are not as valued in the NFL, linderbaum may drop. Also QBs tend to go higher than they are actually rated, so perhaps in the top 15, there will be a run on QBs. so perhaps a trade down, pick up additional picks, take Linderbaum, then if we have to, trade up in the second and take Thomas Jones, if not Jones, then Wyatt

Very weird how Gil Brandt left out Edge/LB Sam Williams and LB Brandon Smith out of his Top 100 while placing lesser scrap in it.

I will say if WR Jameson Williams is still available by the time the Cowboys pick at #24, they would be absolutely totally crazy not to pick him up.

We see ex players and coaches sports media with terrible opinions all the time.

The issue is that we have no idea how much time Gil or any other ex NFL player/scout/coach puts into their draft opinions.

Gil gets paid because of his name. Nobody is grading his results.
