Gil Brandt Top 150

Quuen ahead of Murray and Herbert ahead of Tua is head scratching.

Not exactly. Actually, most rankings I've seen have queen over Murray

Not many w Herbert over Tua though

Hennesey over Ruiz. I have read where Hennesey can be had in the 4th or 5th round but like king of the north have said beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

I believe both are accurate.

Herbert is a mess mechanically but he is a big, strong, athletic kid with no real injury concerns.
Tua is a major injury concern who is also a lefty that has been surrounded by an all-star cast in college.

Queen has been ahead of Murray on both boards I've seen.
I've taken Murray at 451 in a couple mocks.

Well his top 17 is pretty much spot on...and pretty much on par with this draft, 18-50 is anyone’s guess how they should be ranked. All a matter of preference

Tua vs Herbert is so much to do with injuries. I think most would have Tua pushing Burrow if he was injury-free his college career so it's a matter of how much he needs to be discounted.

Maybe the biggest surprise is that Cushenberry isn't in his top 150. I have him as an early 2nd round pick.

Brandt always shakes it up a bit.

I may not agree.....but at least it's different.

His WR rankings are...just...wow
He sure likes him some Coulter.

Question is when will the runs at each position take place.
Dane had 26 WR rated R4/R5 or better. He has 19 CB.

That's just a lot of bodies.
Teams have to ask themselves if they value some of those guys much more highly than others.

In some mocks I noticed WR drying up by late round 3 but they were doing stuff like having PHI draft WR round 1,2,3. lol.

I suspect R3 is perfect value for CB and R4 is for WR.
BUT if you wait that out you won't likely be picking your desired flavor just the guy left over at great value.

If I could draw it up to dream situation I'd probably go:
RD1 trade down to 20-27. Draft DE
RD2. DT
RD3A CB
RD3B WR
RD4 TE
RD5A OT
RD5B RB
RD7 LB

They are identical twins that were adopted into different families. Happens all the time.

I can see how people could rank Herbert that high..

He’s a flawless physical talent.. I just don’t know if the intangibles / decision making are there.

I don’t think he busts though because he has a lot of college experience and he meets a lot of Parcells QB requirements.

Broaddus said Hennessy is the best center in the draft too.
