Didn't see the game. Looking at the box The Condemned Cowboy had a damn good game. Completed 55%, for 243, 1TD, 1pick. First NFL start at that. Comments seem to be all over hell's creation as to how he played.

Then Dak has to start posting under one of his many alias point to the Pittsbugh game in 2016? Shouldn't he remember (or should I remind him)......

Yes he was 22 of 32 for 319.....but 83 of those yards were on one play to (cough-cough) a kid by the name of Ezekiel Elliot who was no slouch that year. And he chipped in 21 touches for 114. Dez Bryant put up a 50 yarder while going for 116 yards receiving on the day.

Gilbert had a good day!
And I wore socks which is good.
But ankle socks suck. If you get free ankle socks for your birthday, smile and toss them in trash first chance you get.

I feel super vindicated. When I was scouting Alliance games I felt Garrett Gilbert would be a way better backup than Cooper Rush and said so here many times.

Gilbert is nothing special but he's at least competent, and he showed that today. Cooper Rush has never shown an ounce of NFL ability.

it was obvious his timing with the recievers wasn't quite there....but he looked heck of a lot better than Dalton. he has way more zip on his balls.

But please tell us how losing Dak was no biggie.

Dak Prescott was a 4th round rookie, 4th string QB when he saved Dallas season from being a repeat of 2015.

Yet there were numerous DAILY threads COMPLAINING about Dak in 2016.

And again, what does that have to do with Garrett Gilbert and that he played a good game in 2020? Just stop.
