One player who was at the combine whose stock is rising is tackle Jah Reid (6-7 1/2, 321). Several teams have worked Reid out, and even though he fully participated at the combine, he insisted on doing all of the drills over again, which left a favorable impression on NFL personnel. Reid ran 5.32 and 5.29 in the 40, had a 29-inch vertical jump, a 9-3 broad jump, a 4.59 short shuttle and a 7.59 3-cone. He also bench pressed 23 reps of 225 pounds.

Defensive end/outside linebacker Bruce Miller (6-1 5/8, 248) also did the drills again despite running them at the combine, and in addition to his defensive positions, teams worked him out at fullback. Miller ran 40s of 4.65 and 4.67, jumped a 33 1/2 vertical and a 9-7 broad jump, and he clocked 4.31 in the short shuttle and 6.75 in the 3-cone.

Draft Scout Snapshot: DS Rating on 9-1-10: #16 OT, #204/750 Overall, 7
2010: Reid was one of the Knights' most improved players over the past five years, going from a 370-pound project coming out of high school to an anchor of the offensive line at UCF the past two seasons. He started 41 games at right tackle, including 33 in a row dating back to 2008. With Reid often leading the way with his blocking, UCF had three backs - quarterback Jeff Godfrey and tailbacks Latavius Murray and Ronnie Weaver - run for at least 10 touchdowns this season. Wisconsin was the only other school with three backs to run for at least 10 scores. UCF ran for 192.5 yards and game and 35 TDs on the ground - many of them behind Reid on the right side...Reid earned first-team All-C-USA accolades in both 2009 and 2010...2009: Named to the coaches' All-Conference USA First Team...Played and started all 13 games at right tackle on the offensive line...2008: Saw action in all 12 games at right tackle, making 10 starts...2007: Named to the coaches' All-Conference USA Freshman Team ... Saw action in all 14 games on the place-kicking special teams units ...2006: Redshirted.

Overview
Reid came into UCF's program as a 370-pound project, but is leaving a durable four-year starter who became a relatively svelte 325-pound late-round right tackle prospect. It's doubtful many expected the Florida native would start 41 games for the Golden Knights when he appeared on campus, but he did just that -- including 33 in a row and an all-conference pick.

After taking a redshirt in 2006, Reid quickly wasted no time endearing himself to the UCF coaching staff. He saw action in all 14 games as a redshirt freshman, and his experience came mostly on special teams, he still earned first-team All-Conference USA Freshman honors. In 2008, Reid made 10 starts, again playing in every game. As a junior, he picked up the pace, earning a spot on the All-Conference USA first team as a right tackle after starting all 13 contests. He again started on the all-conference squad in 2010 after paving the way for three 10-touchdown backs.

Analysis
Strengths: Has a long frame with above-average athleticism. Has no injury concerns and has strong experience as a three-year starter. Shows ability to ride rushers past the pocket with long arms. Possesses adequate quickness and gets into position on time. Controls college defensive linemen when he locks on due to decent upper-body strength. Flashes the awareness to help out inside when necessary and is a tough player who worked hard to lose weight after enrolling. Is athletic enough to find linebackers and engage targets at the second level.
Weaknesses: Does not possess a mean streak, lacks violent punch at the point of attack. Plays very high and back on his heels, allowing defenders to gain early leverage and get under his pads. Waist-bender who allows his height to work against him, top-heavy when engaging quick rushers. Awkwardly attempts to sit into his stance and often loses balance when trying to mirror opponents. Lean into targets. Struggles with hand placement, allows rushers into his body. Lumbers in space at times and does not consistently break down when asked to make a block at the second level. Gets lost looking for blitzers and possesses below average awareness when facing added pressure from the defense.
