I can't copy and paste bc I'm on my phone

1) Bill says don't be surprised if we take a CB in rd. 1 - if we do, it's either Dre or Gilmore..which would you prefer?

2) If we do take a CB in round one, it's possible we then couple Jenkins + 45 to move up..

Thanks for the update!

I would prefer Gilmore, just not at 14.

I like GIlmore alot more than Kirkpatrick.
Gilmore is siad to have jumped up the board and may be a top 10 pick now.
So at 14 I would be ok with it.
The only way I would be happy with Kikpatrick is in a trade back to add a extra pick. Then package Jenkins + 45 to move up and get a DE,LB, or OG/C.
Reyes, Mercilus, Branch, Konz, Zeitler.

I would even consider adding Spears into the package to move up if that means we are moving up to get a 3-4 DE.

Hmmm to move up to get who ??? Konz ?? Upshaw ?? Barron ??

From what I'm hearing is Dallas is high on Barron and Konz not so much Upshaw.

If we trade back I think the target will be Barron. Defense just needs to much help. I think they are just as comfortable with Blake as they are with Konz. After Barron, I don't know of any safeties that they may be as high on.

I think Ben Jones is the center we want... If we don't get Konz

I've been leaning toward Gilmore over Kirkpatrick of late. Mostly because I thought we should take care of another position of need at 14 than CB, and then maybe trade up as needed to get SG -- back up into the latter 1st Round or top of the 2nd Round. Now, with Mayock claiming Gilmore is his #2 CB pick in the Draft, that idea doesn't appear to have much chance of success.

Mayock said he's further convinced Stephon Gilmore is the 2nd best CB in the Draft, [yesterday], after attending South Carolina's Pro Day. I posted PFT.com's blog about it. A snippet:

"Two of the 15 best players in this year’s NFL draft may have come from South Carolina, where outside linebacker Melvin Ingram and cornerback Stephon Gilmore both impressed at today’s Pro Day."

Repost.

Gilmore in round 1 would be good for me. I'd even take him at 14. Kirkpatrick, not so much. Something about a CB whose highlights consist of only tackles, that bugs me.

Gilmore is a bit of a project, though he's got everything you want in a football player.

Jones and Saulsberry are my 2 favorite centers relative to where you have to pick them. I think Jones may end up as the best center in this draft.

They're both good, but I prefer Saulsberry. The guy is criminally underrated.

People should watch the Brockers vs. Mississippi St. highlight on youtube and watch Saulsberry (he's playing G, #55). He's does a great job.

If we can trade back and get Barron then konz I would do a back flip. Metaphorically

Gilmore in the first and trade up and take Barron too. :D

Gilmore over Kirkpatrick. Not sure that Kirkpatrick is even going to be a CB. Only question about Gilmore is ability to play man-coverage. He played primarily zone in college, but appears to have the physical ability to play man.

Neither. Call me selfish but I want a guy who will come in and start from day one. No CB drafted is going to start this season unless there is an injury or Jenkins is traded.

The sure bet is d-line, or o-line if DeCastro is still available. Personally, I think the Cowboys will trade back and target Konz, Hightower or Barron.
