If we don't get Clabo and Idonije, then I think we'll keep C/G Kevin Kowalski (who we could keep over Cook anyway) and DE Ikponmwosa Igbinosun (just because I like the name). Or we could move Albright to DE and keep Caleb McSurdy or Cam Lawrence at LB.

I'm excited about that secondary.

Like the receiving corps much better, too, with the addition of Williams and a hopefully healthy Danny Coale.

No more trying to turn Kevin Ogletree into a reliable receiver.

Don't sleep on Tim Benford. Cowboys like him. I think he takes Beasley's spot on your roster.

Possibly. I like how Benford played last preseason, so he could make the decision interesting.

I am really liking this roster. Hoping that it ends up this way.

Keep Romo healthy and this team could be dangerous next year despite yet another tough schedule.

NFC east winner will probably have 9-10 wins, as they typically beat up on each other so I'm hoping they can somehow go 4-2 against NFCE teams and 6-4 against non divisional opponents. Eagles will be better, Skins won't be as dangerous but still a threat with RG3 in the picture, and for once I think the Giants wont be such a headache.

Lance dunbar may be in danger.I like Kendial lawrence,he has great speed and a more allround back than Dunbar.

I'm surprised I haven't see a Lawrence hype thread. Small guy with a 4.33 40 time. Didn't play poorly in the SEC considering that he was in a spread offense headed by the GAWD awful James Franklin. Not out of the question that he could beat out Dunbar.

Nice breakdown. The one I'd have questions about would be Beasley. As a 5th/6th receiver who won't contribute much if anything on special teams, I could see him very much on the bubble.

Cook definitely has some value, if for nothing else that he could be a gameday swing-everything and free up an active spot elsewhere.

I'm looking forward to the safety battle in mini-camps/TC, to see who's going to step up.

Dominguez is an interesting choice.

The Packers' interest in him died quickly, though, but he was a pretty good player in the SEC.

Also, I guess you're not expecting Chris Jones to return to form as punter. He was really good before getting injured.

I don't know. I really liked Dunbar's quickness, but his pass protection needs work.

Whoever the third back is will have to show special teams ability, and Dunbar has worked as the kick returner and on coverage teams.

I think Lawrence might end up on the practice squad for a year.

Beasley is a question mark, but I'll give him the benefit of the doubt after his performance last preseason.

I would have preferred to go with Kowalski over Cook, but I think Dallas sees Cook the same way, as a swing tackle/center/guard for game days with lots of experience.

Any chance we get Clabo, I heard he was working out for the Dolphins?

What about Winston? Anybody know if we have called him for a workout?

Please tell me the plan is not to go with Free at RT, even with a paycut.

Jones was good but the Clemson kid is versital. Punts and can kick field goals. Bailey insurance plan. As for Dominguez...it was a toss up. Arkin hasnt shown anything other than he was a wasted pick.

If it is true they tried to trade back into the 7th for DC Jefferson, they really want to go with 4 TEs. Maybe a June 1 cut or somebody elses TC cut in the fall. No FB.

I don't think the plan is to go with Free. Jerry has artfully dodged his way around questions about Free, and based on past experience, that means he's as good as gone.

I assume they are trying to do him like they did Gurode, though, offering a pay cut to keep him around as a backup. Ultimately, though, I think he'll do like Gurode and walk away.

Thanks for the info on the punter. I still think Jones will beat him out because of the distance he was getting on his punts and his ability to angle them to the sideline.

I do agree that Arkin is gone. Just another failed later-round lineman for Dallas.
