I don't see it working that way. I think they will keep the guys with the most upside, and I don't see much upside in the PS-eligible corners, except Webb. And we're better set at corner, so the Cowboys might want to keep looking at the safety candidates, especially with Johnson's injury issues.

Thought maybe you didn't like him hitting defenseless return men.

Please splain...I have no clue what you are talking about? I don't know, but from what I was looking at he just did not seem to play as well as he should have, but then again, I'm not a coach.

Nice work. Disagree on a few but overall good. Not sure about 6 WRs and we need more than 5 CBs although they may carry a S/CB. Need 7 LBs although they could go with 6.

Punning about him not seeing the punt returner signal for a fair catch. Should have added :)

Oh...that dude? Stupid play...he ran past the punt receiver and did not see the fair catch Rookie mistake.

I could easily see the linebacker situation turning out differently, especially if some of the young guys step up over the next few weeks. Not sure on the corners; Underwood stands a chance, but I don't really see the need to carry more than five ... especially if the fifth safety is better on special teams.

And, yes, the sixth receiver is iffy for me. One of three players I could see Dallas dropping to go longer at another position.

I actually thought the punt returner did a poor job of signaling for a fair catch — one quick swipe of the arm. Frampton was looking up for the ball at the time. Just one of those things that happens sometimes.

I think Livings either starts or gets cut. Don't see him sticking as a backup. Not sure who would take his roster spot between Cook or Killa.

A few of the ST guys are interchangeable to be honest, the last 3-4 spots could go to probably about 7-8 guys and it wouldn't make a slight bit of difference which ones.

Since there's no compelling monetary reason to cut Livings, I think he stays as a vet backup if we don't sign Waters. The only reason he might lose his starting job is because of how Leary is playing. I believe the Cowboys would rather have him backing up the guard spots than Cook or Kowalski.

If we sign Waters, Bernadeau becomes the vet backup and Dallas doesn't need Livings.

Livings won't start unless there is an injury. The LG job is all Ron Leary. That being said, his money is guaranteed so the team might as well keep him for insurance.
