There's a guy within arms length, in the direction Murray is running. He wasn't gonna go in anywhere "Untouched". Also, he allowed a defender to come in Free, to take a shot at Romo, that forced the scramble. It's done & over with. Quit crying like children over it.

Don't know what film your watching but there is no defender coming in free to wrap up Murray. It was 2nd one 1 and the goal was a first down. You should stop defending a boneheaded play by romo. It's as bad as crying over spilled milk.

This is not just a red zone issue boss. This is an overall short yardage obvious run situation issue. Last season vs GB, when he audible out wasn't in the red zone, yet it was an obvious run situation that he unknowingly to others changed it to a pass. I can take the good with the bad, but not the stupid low football IQ with the bad. It's also a mentality problem, STYLE OVER SUBSTANCE.

But understand though, we're talking about a few occurrences where this didn't work. Which is about what most good qb's in this league do. But for whatever reason it gets magnified when Romo does it. I guess its lack of playoff success that warrants this.

This is not a few occurrences. We throw far too often in short yardage / goal line situations and have for a few years now. I honestly don't care what others do, I'm a cowboy Fan and again far to often our OC, HC and QB play with low football IQ. Whether it's shotgun in short yardage situations, passing when we should running, penalties, etc, we play stupid as a pass first team.

Everyone says offense is our stregth, but to be more specific, our Oline and running g the ball is our true offensive stregth and Romo, Garrett and Jones haven't figured it out.

All of the Cowboys' insider types like Broaddus have said the OL was run blocking. Witten was on the radio yesterday and acknowledged that they were run blocking.

Yeah, what wasn't in the plan was to let Justin Smith free. You can see from Tyron's reaction that he knew he screwed up. That is why he turned back immediately when Justin Smith blew right past him.

Changed from run to pass another disaster. Things like this why I called him a stat *****.

Yeah, he's only done it two times in his entire career and somehow you magically know about both of them. Please stop embarrassing yourself.

Never said anyone was coming in free to wrap up Murray. I'm sorry I can't spend all day, teaching you reading comprehension. Also, I never defended Romo in this game. He had a bad game. There was no defense for some of those throws, he threw that day. One of his worst performances as our Starting QB.

Maybe it would be helpful if you brush up on grammar?

At least we agree it was a terrible day for Romo. That was a play that was crucial for the momentum of this team, not just the game. Maybe if he gave it to Murray and they scored a TD, they could have lead to other successes and possibly beat the niners. As a young team they need all the little victories they can get like running the ball on 2nd and 1 in the red zone and getting a first down.

You said the OL was not run blocking, but they were and almost everyone but you agrees with that point.

Romo and the Cowboys have done this before, just like in this play against the Packers.

In both cases, Tyron stepped hard to the inside off the snap. The difference is that nobody was threatening the inside gap against the Niners, so the tried to get back outside, but the Niners outside defender didn't have a shot at Murray if it had been a run.
