Its a long season, and I remember in the late 90's when Aikman hit Rocket to end the game in Washington to start the season, how positive I felt and how dismal that year turned out to be, but Drew Bledsoe looked pretty darn good yesterday.

I have said here before, and I still feel this way, that if we aren't capable of winning now, and sustaining it in the next few years, that I would like to see us commit to a young QB and let him grow while playing.

I have to admit, though, that if Bledsoe continues to play like yesterday, and if the young defense grows, this team has a shot to do something nice this year. That would be a great thing for all us Cowboys fans.

I still get nervous watching him pat the ball, and I know he won't be perfect all year, so lets just hope we can keep him upright, and this wasn't a one game wonder.

Right, I don't think anyone is suggesting 16-0 and Super Bowl champs, but I will take 226 yds, 3TD's, and no INT's EVERY SINGLE GAME !!!

Enjoy this fellas, every Monday won't feel this good.

Yes, he played a very strong, tough game...
I just hope he doesn't want to prove how tough he too often...Like on those runs where he dives for yards & gets a Romo in the game...

Well, we actually were headed to a terrific season in '99 and most likely a date with the Rams in the NFC Championship Game, but then Irvin went down and things immediately snowballed. Even that game in Philly where he went down we were up 10-0 and ended up losing. We were 3-0 and headed to 4-0 at that point.

So let's pray we keep everyone upright this year, and if we do, I don't think we'll see a repeat of '99.

Imagine going 143 QB rating, 3 tds and zero ints, Converting 4-4 red zones into 28 points. Completing 7-11 3rd down conversions. Being a big part of a win on the road against a 12-4 calibre playoff team.

Me thinks some are not being fare here. A lot of posters true colors on Drew cam out last night.....
