This def stopped the giants over and over again. And if it wasnt for bad offense this wouldve been a blowout. This win is all DEF. Without DEf TD Cowboys lose.

in between Cowboys score to to lead 21-6 with 6 mins in the 3rd. Giants score on next drive 21-13. Cowboys offense gains 33 yrds on the next 3 drives. While the Def steps up and Allow 5 yrds on the giants ensuing drives.

the point is the offense needs to help the defense out. Stay on the field and convert some 3rd downs. And this has been the story all yr. A injury depleted def throughout the yr with a offense who cant make first downs is going to be bad.

So give it up to the def was keeping this game in hand.

For those of you who are going to say the DEf gave up the td to tie it. Ill remind you that the Dallas D kept the giants from scoring for basically 12 mins. In those 12 mins running from the 3rd quarter to the 4th Dallas gained a total of 33 yrds.

Defense was getting trucked on the ground all day long. Yes, they did their share of work in the redzone; but that run D has to get solidified.

Most of the games defense gets killed by air but today, they were struggling with runs BUT they made stops when they had to and gave offense chance so yes, well done defense!

Ok they gave up yrds against the run and they produced what? 6 points? thats called empty yrds. The late passing scored not the run.

I think the defenses ought to thank mother nature. On both sides really. Reminded me of the Eagles game where Foles suddenly couldn't hit the broad side of a barn.

Going into this week, teams that give up 200 yards rushing were 61-425 since 2000.

What about those same teams who held the opposing QB under 175 yards passing as well as the 200 yards rushing? I bet the record is much more split.

The offense did step up to help out the defense. They converted in the red zone and had a perfect 2 minute drive to seal the win. Neither the offense nor the defense played perfectly today, but they both played a role in our win. The defense holding the Giants to two field goals instead of TDs kept us in the lead for most of the game. Then the offense stepping up at the end gave us the win.

And I'm not too mad about all the rushing yards we gave up today. You don't win in today's NFL by running the ball. The run allows you to set up the pass. All those running yards and all they got were two field goals. They didn't start scoring TDs until they started passing it. I think the run played in our favor. They ended up eating up their own clock when we had the lead. I'll take the defense giving up a lot of rushing yards over a lot of passing yards any day.

Those two fourth down stops will be largely forgotten but were HUGE plays.

Definetly give them credit for that along with the Def TD, but they were absolutley getting trucked in the running game. That part was painful to watch the Gmen getting nearly 10 yards a pop. I don't know why the giants got away from the running game. I would have shoved it down our throats until we could prove we could stop it.

I agree.....but touch the offensive guy when he is on the ground. That came close to ruining a great effort.
