For all those complaining about Roy Williams and Terrell Owens, I have this to say.

I'm tired of watching the Cowboys lose people only to watch them come back and play well, or coach well, for someone else.

Peyton, Fujita, just to name 2.

Roy might stink it up at times for the rest of his career, but let him do it in a Cowboys uniform.

T.O. might keep dropping a pass per game, but let him do it in a Cowboys uniform.

I would rather see them play poorly for us than well for someone else. I'm tired of seeing that happen to us.

I don't think he's a detriment. I think he is playing on a team that apparently doesn't know how to use him properly. I don't discount that HE deserves to take responsibility for poor play, but it is AMAZING how other coaching staffs can take similar players and put them into positions to dominate games.

WE have the amazing ability, on the other hand, to take great athletes and have them look foolish trying to do things that they aren't best at.

I remember (either last game or game before last) seeing Dware run (our defense was confused) all the way out to the sideline and cover a WR up the sideline.

What is that?!!!!

I'm optimistic that the new dc wil use Roy in a way more conduicve to his strengths. Likewise hopeful we call more slants for TO next year.

Maybe it has something to do with needing to use those guys to cover the azzes of many other guys that arent good at all. Like RW seemingly having to "cover" for guys like James or the fact that we got FS's that dont know what they heck they're doing.

Still cracks me up about RW sometimes whe he comes oh so close to making a play (where it's not blatantly him 1 on 1) but falls short and it's a TD the other way. But then it's pointed out... that it wasnt his responsibilty in the first place.

I'm thinking dang.. why cant it just be a case where if it's not his responsibility he's just like 10 or 15 yards away doing something else and then I wouldnt have to wonder about whether he got toasted or made a Heculean effort.

Not meaning to stick up for Roy here.. just sayin.

I want Roy back, but as a LB, or playing a different kind of scheme.

TO can go as far as I'm concerned. I'd rather have a decent WR who catches clutch passes on 4th and 1 rather than a star receiver who drops them.

T.O. and R.W. are great players if used correctly.



Lets face it, R.W. is NO safety.There has to be a scheme for him to bring out his talent . He plays the run great and can hit like no one else, but The man can't cover!!!!

There's talk of Henry going to safety. I'm not sure that's the answer , he can cover OK, but can't tackle for crap .

And as for T.O. ,with him on the field you know the opponents will definitely put two guys on him, I don't care for the guy personally but he's a threat on the field.
Yea, I know he dropped alot of passes this year but I can come up with alot more names who screwed the pooch this year.

And as far as BP is concerned , I believe if he couldn't do it in the last three years with this talent ,whats going to change in 2007.

This team has too much talent to end up like we did in the recent past.

Roy needs to see a shrink and figure out what he wants to be, an elite player, or a headhunter.

TO will be just fine. I think he realizes he has a good thing in Dallas and Tony Romo. That one doesn't bother me.
