Give Me Tyler Warren

Two Super Bowl teams both have stud TEs. Warren would instantly upgrade your offense to a new level. And, he gives you a RedZone weapon. You know he'll be a super star already. To me, one of the safest picks in the draft.

The more I think about it, the more I think he's the likely pick.

BPA style in the first round. We'd know what we're getting, especially if McMillan is gone.

Not sure what you mean by the bolded. Do you mean the two teams in the SB this year? Ferguson is a better receiver than Goedert (Goedert a much better blocker). Ferguson had one year as a full time TE and in that year had 71 receptions and is much more explosive than Goedert. Goedert has never had more than 59 in his 7 seasons. Even in that season Ferguson split time with other TEs but had 5 TDs which matched the most Goedert ever had. Ferguson will be fine IF healthy this year, but Goedert has had injury problems in more than one season. BUT...that doesn't mean we shouldn't take TE. The Raiders took a TE in the 2nd round and immediately took Bowers early in the first the next year. Not that I am in any way comparing Warren to Bowers of course. We need weapons. Whether its a WR or a TE matters little to me if the TE is the better player.

Yes sir you could, and if Warren is the pick Dallas has a mismatch problem for a defense on Sundays for 12 years.Warren is a stud plain and simple, the opposing teams will have to gameplan for him .He would be a Difference maker from day one.

Goedert’s biggest knock is he can’t stay on the field…but when he does he is 100% a better receiver than Ferguson. Not sure why you chose to use just the 1 convenient stat of catches. Ferguson’s high catch total is just a product of Dak using his TE’s as a security blanket.

The hobbled old man version of Witten, Jarwin, Schultz, and now Ferguson- if there’s a TE with a pulse Dak will find them 65+ times a season.

Ferguson, Likely, Packers tight end, Kittle, etc….. Lots of late round tight ends that can play. I just can’t get over the Atlanta tight end that most of the board wanted to trade up for.

If Warren falls to 12 and we don’t pick him, it will be Randy Moss all over again!!!

And he will have a Moss type impact he would make this team much better immediately. Both the running game and passing game would improve and Dak would be more comfortable having Warren in the offense.

No, the point I was making was he was only 24 years old and in his second season when his only full season ended. The defense barely even watches or is aware of Goedert. He is in no way a better receiver than Ferguson. You feel free to tell me which of the two has more catches, yards or whatever you want to use this year come January if Ferguson is healthy.
