Top 5...

1. Colts, 4-0. I've been saying I won't drop the defending champs until they lose, and I'm sticking to my word.

2. Patriots, 4-0. Dangerous on both sides of the ball.

3. Cowboys, 4-0. If the defense catches up with the offense they'd be amazing.

4. Packers, 4-0. Tip my cap to them, because I didn't see it.

5. Steelers, 3-1. Based on the strength of their defense I keep them in the top 5.

Bottom 5...

32. Rams, 0-4. They are just beat up.

31. Dolphins, 0-4. Week 1, Skins fans thought my having them in my bottom 5 was a slight at them. It wasn't. They are bad.

30. Saints, 0-3. I doubt they stay here, but for now you can describe their season with 2 letters. P and U.

29. Bills, 1-3. I have no idea how they beat the Jets. Even a blind chicken finds a piece of corn now and then.

28. Falcons, 1-3. Speaking of blind chickens, it apparently was a banner year for them to eat.

1. Patriots. Just scary.

2. Colts. The defending champs.

3. Cowboys. No need to explain.

4. Packers. Nice to see the Cowboys and Packers relevant again.

5. Seahawks. Flying under the radar with wins over solid opponents (the lone loss to an improved Cardinals team).

Bottom
32. Rams. Have been outscored 103-39 through four games.

31. Saints. Have been outscored 103-38 through three games.

30. Dolphins. Gave up too soon on Culpepper?

29. Falcons. A win over an improving Texans team bumps them up a few spots.

28. Vikings. They have Adrian Peterson, but their lone win came against Atlanta in week one.

The Cardinals have been a surprisingly good team this year. The have lost 2 games by 3 points each (to the 49ERs & Ravens) and beaten two playoff caliber teams (Seahawks & Stealers).

If Matt Leinart was playing more consistently they would probably be 4-0 right now.

If they consistency at the QB position it's certainly possible. They're OLine is much better than last year. They're set at running back and receiver. Their defense is improved. Their coach is an upgrade, as it looks now. If they had a leader at QB there would be no other needs.

It's funny that they're finally turning into a good team this year after hearing over and over that they were "this season's sleeper team". The media has finally written them off again and they're overachieving.
