Give the Cowboys OL some love

The Cowboys offensive line hasn't received enough credit for its performance in the season opener.
An offensive line that allowed 12 sacks in the final four games of last season allowed only one Sunday, and that came on a cornerback blitz in the team's first possession. The line gave Tony Romo time to hit some big plays in the passing game and opened enough holes on the ground for the team to average 4.9 yards a carry.
Another key was the mix between the run and pass. Romo didn't throw on more than three consecutive plays in the first half and never threw more than four straight passes all game. The offensive line has more energy to protect Romo in the passing game when they don't have to drop back into protection 40 times a game.
"Man, we like it like that,'' said right guard Leonard Davis, speaking for the offensive line. "It makes it easier for us if they don't know if we're going to throw it or run it.''
