HE MAKES THINGS HAPPEN. Lets help him turn his negative rage and fury into an unstoppable TD machine again.
Townsend and Taylor were pushing and shoving Owens most of the game.
The Steelers had a corner on him and a safety over top.
They played the same type game that Washington did in the first game, the Rams and the Cardinals did and the Giants.
But despite this, there's this incessant need to "GET T.O. THE BALL AT ALL COST."
And, teams know this.
And, unfortunately, he's so in Romo's head that Romo will force plays to him.
Yeah, T.O. may get open sometimes, but so what?
This is a TEAM game. All receivers get open sometimes. But you can't have this mentality that you must get a receiver his catches.
That's going to hurt the Cowboys in the long run, in my opinion.
Garrett doesn't drive this offense. Wade doesn't drive this offense and even Romo doesn't drive this offense.
T.O. drives this offense. He dictates our philosophy.
Isn't it interesting that teams like the Titans and Vikings and even the Bears know enough about running the football and what it takes to win in December yet we're still arguing about T.O. getting the ball more?
A prescription for an early exit from the playoffs.
