that was known as Super Bowl XL- I went to see Capote and Match Point- both were excellent films and it sounds like I had a much better time than all of you.
You're a member of a football fanatic forum and you didn't watch the Super Bowl?kingwhicker said:that was known as Super Bowl XL- I went to see Capote and Match Point- both were excellent films and it sounds like I had a much better time than all of you.
It was a waste of time. Glad I didn't have a big party or go to a big party.kingwhicker said:that was known as Super Bowl XL- I went to see Capote and Match Point- both were excellent films and it sounds like I had a much better time than all of you.
I want to take a moment to recognize your Nostradamus abilities. Before the playoffs even started you said Steelers would steal it, I mean win it all.kingwhicker said:that was known as Super Bowl XL- I went to see Capote and Match Point- both were excellent films and it sounds like I had a much better time than all of you.

Nice call. Don't ever do it again.

Besides, you already knew who would win it.kingwhicker said:I'm a Cowboys fan, not an NFL fan or a Super Bowl fan, matter of fact, I'm not watching another one if the Cowboys aren't in it. It's just a big time waste and a gut buster-I'll go see good movies from now on.

Thank you. I'd hate to throw up ribs and baked beans.kingwhicker said:Yeah, you don't want to know who is going to win next year, trust me- so I'll keep it to myself.

The super bowl (non capitalized on purpose) has really turned into a joke. All the good games come in the playoffs in the games leading up to it. The Wild Card Round is 100x more exciting to watch then the Minimal Bowl.
Basically if the Cowboys aren't playing, I'm finished with that unspectacular end-game.
It's almost a reality wake up call. Screaming how mediocre the rest of the league has become when two teams like that can make it all the way.
