#1 Denver has done this to every defense this year.
#2 At least our offense might have been awakened now and we can end this conservative play we've seen all year.
#3 Romo played a near perfect game of football. Was really impressed with him. Even the pick he threw, I'm not going to hate him for it. Wish the offensive line would have blocked better for him on that drive.
#4 Terrance Williams and Cole Beasley really showed up as big play players.
#5 Offensive line looked amazing pretty much all night.
#6 Jay Ratliff could be back not next game, but the one after that. Which should hopefully upgrade our pass rush.

#7 we're still #1 in the NFC East and I don't think any of the teams are going to be able to compete with us. I think we have a great chance at getting to the playoffs.

That being said I'm not at all impressed with Kiffin or Garrett. This team is terribly under coached, has been for years, and continues to be. Kiffin has no ability it seems to adjust what so ever. Make them throw the ball deep, stop giving up the intermediate yards, and giving tons of yac. Garrett has no sense of situational football. Second week this year where he should have let the defender score in order to come away with a chance to win. Lose the battle, win the war... I guess he never learned that at Princeton. Maybe he should play a couple games of Madden, because I swear every dallas cowboys fan understood what should be done there. You let the team score, and then you have about 1:30 left with at least 2 timeouts left... plenty of time to come back. Just isn't a smart guy.

no.......just no. As GREAT as the O' is playing...the D' is worse. Two steps forward, two steps back which has been the story of this mediocre franchise the last 18 years. HOT GARBAGE is what Al Davis Jr. rolls out there.

my glass is also have full...yes, we loss, but there were those offensive positives that you mentioned...Denver's defense wasn't horrible entering the game...Romo played they like a fiddle for much of the game...the defense is pathetic...I thought they would have improved each week in learning the new system...not so much

I am betting we are in for a huge let down next week based on prior situations like this. This team plays down to its competition most weeks. I hope I am wrong.

#1 Denver has done this to every defense this year.

Except for the 48 points 3 of the Cowboys 5 opponents this season has done this to them. In 5 games the Cowboys have had 3 QB's go over 400 yards and the defense has given up 14 TD passes. The Cowboys have gone from bad to worse on defense and no one is laughing harder than Rob Ryan.

I love what I am seeing in the offense in general and Romo in particular.

Problem is, with the Cowboys on pace to end up with one of the NFL's all time historically bad defenses (in terms of yards allowed, Passing TDs allowed, etc) what does it all mean? 8-8 or 9-7 and a 1st round exit?

It's a crying shame that Spencer is gone and Ware is on his last legs -- those two playing at last years level would have made this team a true superbowl contender.

QBs with a clue have completely shredded this pass D. We were fortunate to get a couple fortunate bounces vs NYG to eek out that win.

Exactly. NOBODY expected Dallas to win. I'm really feeling bad for Romo because one pass ruined the finest game he played as a pro; with the possible exception of when he beat the 49ers with a punctured lung.

After watching our offense today with a healthy Romo and an emerging TWill, I think we're going to do something special this year. (The D should be getting better as the season goes on...)

Glass half full......yes, that is the problem, aka .500 team. Its the rest of the glass that needs to be filled that is the problem with this team. Just looks like it has a leak in it and will not fill up no matter how hard they try---that is the frustrating part of all this. There comes a time you just have to dump ALL the water in order to properly repair that leak and then you can fill it.
