I prefer glasses over contacts. I just don't see myself sticking things in my eyes every day.

What do you do for vision correction?

I've worn contacts for 28 years now and I can't imagine not having them.

Not that I don't like my glasses, because I wear them around the house to give my eyes a break. I just don't like driving with my glasses instead of contacts. My eyes are really bad, so I have terrible peripheral vision with my glasses on.

contacts. I hate having nose-bridge and ear fatigue from wearing glasses.

I never feel my contacts now that I've switched to Clear Care. That stuff is awesome.

FTFY. The commission check is in the mail. :D

I wear contacts all day then switch to glasses when I get home.

I would hate life if I didn't have my contacts. Can't stand wearing my glasses.

You don't have to do it every day. They have extended wear. Mine only come out once every week or 2.

I can barely wear glasses anymore. The last 2 pairs have given me major headaches, so now they are only used for emergencies, and when my contacts are cleaning (but usually I do that overnight so I don't really wear the glasses then either).

I didn't realize the John Clayton icon was modeled after bbgun.

I can't do that at all. I have to take mine out every night or I feel like I have glue in my eyes. Taking out my contacts after I've even napping in them feels like I'm ripping off my corneas.

Back in contacts now that my PRK corrected eyes have degraded a bit.

You might want some different contacts then. I don't notice mine at all unless they get off centered for some reason.

I've always been that way with regular contacts and disposables, different brands, etc. I think my eyes are just incompatible with sleeping in them.

I don't mind, really. I'm used to it after all this time. I even wore hard lenses back in the day because I had astigmatism.

I also remembered today why I dislike wearing my glasses all day - they get so dirty! I must frown a lot, because I'm always cleaning off eyebrow smudges off the lenses. Annoying!

Glasses.

I have tried hard and soft lenses and have been unable to wear any of them comfortably. I have always wanted to be able to wear them, I just never have been able to overcome the feeling that there's something in my eyes that I need to get out. Also they make things seem so bright I feel the need to wear sunglasses and my eyes were always red when I wore contacts. Even the tiniest dust mote felt like a rock.

Foreign body rejection syndrome of some kind, I'm thinking.

love contacts but hate having them in all day and the maintenance they require. i wear my glasses all the time unless I'm going out for some special reason, just waiting until my eyes are done changing so i can get lasik. my eye doctor cleared me three years ago for it but i had no money then a year ago my prescription changed so i guess it worked out, i want 20/20 for as long as possible. I'm thinking ill just wait a year and a half to the recommended age of 25 to get lasik then bye bye to both of my corrective methods lol

I don't have either yet. I wore glasses as a kid and just sort of grew out of the need, but I find I'm growing back into to it. I'm with the OP, I couldn't see sticking my fingers in my eyes for any reason. I'll be sporting four eyes in the near future.
