And that's the real issue that no one talks about. The emotional stress put on family members, especially those who are the primary caregivers, can be unreal. On TV, dementia patients are usually shown docile and dormant, sitting in chairs staring endlessly at nothing. In the real world, dementia patients are in denial, quite active, prone to bad decisions, bad hygiene, anger, paranoia and more.
wth. That sounds like me....

My ex-wife's grandmother suffered from it for nearly 8 years. This woman used to tip the scales at maybe 110 pounds and was as docile as can be. Her personality did a 180 over the years and her weight nearly doubled. She became mean and if she wasn't mean to people she was always hungry or sleeping. I felt so bad for my mother-in-law. She was the only one to take care of her. Her brothers lived on the other side of the country so they couldn't help. I think my mother-in-law had to sigh a little relief when her mother finally passed.

I told my daughter if I get that disease put me in a home. I will not want my daughter wasting her life taking care of me. I can't imagine my daughter wiping my butt after I've soiled myself.
Amen.

Doesn't matter who writes the song. It's the singer that makes the song. Example, Adele. :)

You're right, it doesn't matter at all and I wasn't knocking Glen in the slightest. The only reason I mentioned it is the post I quoted referred to him as a Singer/Songwriter, which is generally a term used to apply to an artist who writes all or at least most of his or her own material.

Interesting interview with Alice Cooper on Glen. Its kinda long at about 9 and 1/2 minutes, but I learned a few things about both of them.
