Glenn to take flight against birds
By CLARENCE E. HILL JR.
Star-Telegram Staff Writer
Head coach of the Dallas Cowboys Wade Philips was quoted Wednesday coming out of practice. He told reporters that the Cowboys Veteran Wide Receiver Terry Glenn is 50/50 for their game against division rivals the Philadelphia Eagles.
He told reporters that he would feel good about putting Glenn out on the field this week against the Detroit Lions if he had more practice with Jason's offence.
The thirty three year old twelve year veteran out of Ohio State has had surgery twice this year on his knee. And after missing the first twelve games of the season is hopeful and eager to return to the field. Sources close to Glenn have said that "He will return before the playoffs."
Terry feels very good about the knee and has told those close to him that he hasn't lost a step. His trainers feel that he is almost at full strength and he has told team mates that he is "Very close to being at full speed." He was joking with Cowboys Tight End, Jason Witten and said "You won't even know I am on the field I'll blow by you so fast."
He has shown such improvement in running and cutting that most in valley ranch are optimistic about his return in two weeks.
