I'm off the Kool aide and now looking at this team for who they really are. I'm going to go by categories to express my opinion on where they are thus far in the season. My opinion. So don't take it as the gospel.
Let's start with the Oline. For once and for all they are not the best Oline in football. In fact at times they are not really that good. You take Smith out of the equation they become pretty average real quick. When these guys face a physical defensive front they melt like butter in a hot pan. For me it's time to say goodbye to Smith via trade hopefully for draft picks. Then it's time to go draft again along the O-line. These guys are just empty paper bags. Given any stress they quickly break. Draft meaner -tougher O-linemen in the future or get a coach who can transform them into this.

Next up? The Boy Wonder. Great against weak azzzz teams. Horrible against defensive coaches that know their crap. People in here worried about this guy leaving. Really??? He has been here forever yet he loses a few pieces and even when he doesn't he gets his hat handed to him by smart defensive coaches. Might be good if he gets a better coaching gig. Good for Dallas. Quinn has been here less in time and yet his defense missing 3 key players are better I'd say in big games.

McCarthy? Not even gonna waste my time here. Gimmicks are all he has. No coaching adjustments. No fire from the team in Big games. Especially against teams that wanna bring it to his team. Worthless. Team is soft as he is against the bullies of the NFL. Mike Tomlin has far less talent yet his teams find away to stay competitive in games. McCarthy is a fake azzzz coach. IMO

Dak Prescott. Average quarterback. Will destroy weaker teams. Has yet to show he can rise to the occasion of bigger games. I really hate to say these things. I was the biggest Dak fan in here. But got to speak the truth here. He needs to get better against better teams. Will he? Time will tell but Dak doesn't rise to the occasion in bigger games. In fact he seems to crack because of the pressure. Hopefully he can learn eventually to rise in these moments. I once thought Moore would help him do this but I haven't seen it yet. I'm not out on Dak but the rope has gotten shorter.

Quinn and the defense played well without 3 of their key players. Parson is a MONSTER!!! I wish we had 10 more on defense. Not only his physical play but he wants to be great. Many guys have the talent but doesn't want to be great like Parson does. You got to want to be a dog. And Parsons is one mean dog!!Yes! My favorite part of the team played well. Too bad the stinking offense stayed on the bus. Inexcusable IMO in a huge show me what you have type game. Our offense showed Kansas City. We had nothing. My defense held the mighty Chiefs offense to 19 points at KC. Yet my teams so called number 1 offense could get only 9:facepalm: And Jerry!!! Get them the hell out of the resort in California ala training camp. Put them back into the Dallas heat as Jimmy did. Stop thinking about your wallet for once and put the team first! Resorts are for vacations. Not making your team tougher and great. I'm always a Dallas Cowboy fan. And as a fan gonna expect better play and be truthful about thus play. Rant over:angry:

our defense adjusted just fine and the offense was adjusting play call wise

THEY DIDNT EXECUTE , END OF STORY NOT A COACHING ISSUE ,A SUPER STAR LET DOWN ON OFFENE..DAK IS 1-2 PLAYED LIKE TRASH IN THOSE LOSSES AND ITS STARTs WITH THE LEADER, you know daks supposed to be an upgrade over Romo because of leadership..what does that mean yelling fiery speeches in the huddle? LMAO winning is the cure and sign of leader not his respect in the locker room and being 1-2 with dak as the main issue is an issue for me..

This team doesn’t have the depth on the offensive line to play how they want to. If teams get pressure, this offense can’t handle it.

I agree that MM is an average coach but Dak is an above average QB. He’s just weak at avoiding the rush. Dak’s success is almost fully dependent on good line play.

Hopefully I understood you but I never said Dak was the main issue. He's part of it as I typed. Dak is a good verbal locker room leader-yes. But leadership is when things are going bad on the field. You wanna see some of that look at Aikman and Staubach. As far as McCarthy? We have to part ways here. As I said. He's a fake azzzz coach and a gimmick one. In big games he won't ever be the reason we win.

McCarthy makes adjustments the entire game, just because the other team counters it or it doesnt work doesnt mean there wasnt an adjustment

This is the truth and when Tyron is banged up or not playing our Oline goes from top 5 to less than middle of the pack in a hurry ,to the point the offense is unable to execute at all against good teams

Thankfully I know a joke when I see one. You have to be joking? Right?

Tyron Smith is a major, major part of this team and he needs to play.

Wanna coddle him, give him a rest? Then get a big lead and pull him.....but if he can walk he needs to be out there....if they expect to go anywhere beyond where Garrett took us anyway.

I'm sure teams will be lining up to trade valuable draft picks for a 30 year old LT that is due $17M next year and has trouble staying on the field. I fully expect teams to be blowing Jerry's phone up to make that trade:facepalm:

we can agree on that rotate him like most other positions. Put him on snap count and even if hes in 50% of the offensive snaps its positive for the team.but this isnt all TS my frind t dak had time more time then not and held it fumbled and threw, 2 ints and not the OLs fault every snap..Mahomes moved many times they moved the pocket he threw on the run or while rolling out..the wrs dropped passes, penalties and the qb yes dak was an issue for those 2 losses..right away play 1 he overthrows an open wr down the sideline, then a very low throw in the flats that barely was caught and them 3rd down..first 3 pays dak looked off like the denver game and then just was off all day..

Another classic overreaction by a Cowboys fan after a loss. You know that dynasty we had in the 90’s were 12-4 or 13-3 in the regular season each year they won the Super Bowl, and yesterday we were missing Amari Cooper, Tyron Smith, CeeDee Lamb, Randy Gregory, Osa, Demarcus Lawrence, and some other pieces? So virtually our whole starting Dline, our All pro LT, and the best receiving duo in pro football. I think the outcome would’ve been much different if we had our actual team. Everyone just calm down.

excuses 2 ints ,a fumble , and bad passes weren't because of all that..we won with rush in mn no excuses.

yes the oL was an issue yes wr dropped passes but the makeable plays thats dak himself was responsible for the lack of execution was on him..it was very obvious..

It’s not an excuse it’s a freakin fact. Micah parsons caused mass disruption and chaos by himself - don’t you think if we had our actual starting defensive line it would’ve made a big difference, or instead of Terence Steele falling asleep at LT; all pro Tyron smith would’ve given Dak more time to make reads and hit targets. Or instead of Noah brown and Cedric Wilson being those targets, we had Amari and CeeDee (pro bowl caliber WRs) would make a difference? That’s roughy $400,000,000 worth of talent that didn’t play in this game, I would hope that all of you acknowledge that FACT.

Imo, anybody with average knowledge can see Fangio's(or Spagnuolo's) crowd the box pressure, run blitz and disrupt the WR routes at the LOS scheme has been successful against the Dallas offense in the last 2 losses.

McCarthy, Moore, Philbin and Dak need to prove they know how to effectively gameplan and execute plays to defeat this type defense regardless of players missing or not.

lol I took notes on the entire game; Dak was not the issue… feel free to read my notes:

Cowboys 1st drive:
-3rd & 3.. Ball hits Noah Brown in the hands and bounces off; Dallas punts after what should’ve been an easy 1st down

Chiefs 1st drive:
-Chiefs drive into cowboys territory; Ball bounces off of Hartman’s hands and no one is there to pick it off
-3rd & 3 our DLineman that I’ve never even heard of jumps offside
-Chiefs score easily but miss extra point (6-0)

Cowboys 2nd drive:
-Steele doesn’t even move and the blitz gets by him & Dak fumbles on the 20 yard line. Chiefs recover

Chiefs 2nd drive:
-3 and out, micah got pressure on 2nd down and LVE would’ve had an easy pick if he turned around. Butker makes a FG (9-0)

Cowboys 3rd drive:
-Dak avoids heavy pressure on 3rd and 5 and gets the ball to Gallup with a beautiful pass for 1st down on the chiefs 45
-Zeke gets injured (appears to be an ankle injury)
-Pollard breaks free for a 30 yard run to the chiefs 15
-3rd and 5 on the chiefs 10 & Collins False starts.. 3rd & 10… Dak launches the ball in Gallup’s direction but it’s not even close
-Zuerlin makes 33 yard field goal (9-3 chiefs)

Chiefs 3rd drive:
-Chiefs return the kickoff to the 35
-Chiefs get a holding penalty after getting a 1st down
-Micah with more pressure and causes mahomes to throw a pass to the flats for 1 yard
-3rd & 5: Cowboys don’t bother to cover Hill and he gains 8 (Micah with pressure on Mahomes once again)
-Mahomes throws for 37 yards to the cowboys 15
-Cowboys dbs aren’t covering jack squat and are completely confused - Mahomes runs the option and pitches it
-Taunting is called on the chiefs and the cowboys push the extra point back 15 yards and the chiefs make it (16-3)

Cowboys 4th drive:
-Pollard had an opportunity for a massive kickoff return but the chiefs literally made a shoe string tackle
-Zeke gives Erin Andrews a thumbs up and implies he’s ‘good to go’
-3rd and 7.. WR screen to Gallup and he converts
(flag thrown) -12 men in the huddle Dallas
- 2nd & 10 Dak throws a dot to Schultz that was almost picked off
- Gallup gets a 20 yard pass knocked out of his hands on the chiefs 40
-Cowboys can’t establish a run game thus far (a yard or two here and there; with the exception of pollards big run)
-Schultz catches a 15 yard missile (holding is called on Steele) instead of it being 1st down in chiefs territory, it’s 3rd and 19
-KC is called for illegal hands to the face; free 1st down after Cedric Wilson drops a rare wide open pass
-Zeke comes back after missing about 15 minutes of game time
-Dak throws a dot and noah brown drops it (it was about 5 inches behind him)
-3rd and 5, Dak gets blitzed and the ball is tipped and the chiefs almost pick it
-Punt downed on the 7 yard line

Chiefs 4th drive:
-LVE pressures mahomes; incomplete pass
-2nd down; Hill burns Brown for a 25 yard pitch and catch
-chiefs are averaging 8 yards per play; cowboys are averaging 4
-3rd & 4: Micah gets pressure and Donovan Wilson breaks up a pass to Hill
-Punt (Micah almost blocks it; missed the ball by about 6 inches)

Cowboys 5th drive:
- Cowboys still can’t get the run game going; Zeke rushes for 2yards
-3rd & 5 after a 3 yard screen that was blown up
-CeeDee catches a pass in the flats for 1 yard (Sneed is all over the place today)
-Cowboys punt; chiefs get it on their 32

[My thoughts so far: Chiefs are getting a lot of pressure and stopping the run which is shocking to me; Cowboys have had opportunities to make plays but they just seem afraid of the chiefs speed on offense]

Chiefs 6th drive:
-Holding on 2nd down; followed by an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty on the same play
-2nd and 29
-Anthony brown makes a solid tackle for a 5 yard gain
3rd & 23: screen for 12 yards
-Cowboys take a timeout with 2:50 to go in the half
-Chiefs punt & Cowboys return it to their 25

[Chiefs the ball after the half; big drive needed]

Cowboys 7th drive:
-Zeke rushes for 8 on 1st down
-Dak is sacked for a 4 yard loss
[I turned the volume down on my TV to 11 (Parsons # for good luck lol]
-3rd & 6: Chiefs pressure the crap out of Dak and he loses roughly 8 yards

-Punt (bad one): fight breaks out; unsportsmanlike conduct on the Chiefs 15 yard penalty due to the fact #27 pretends to fire a machine gun. Refs gather and throw a face mask penalty on the cowboys to offset the penalty & chiefs get the ball on their 45

Chiefs 7th drive:
-micah gets home and makes mahomes fumble; Basham recovers - micah is a god with another sack/fumble even though mahomes saw him and tried to run for his life, and do that hocus pocus crap (I guess me turning the volume down to 11 a few min ago worked)!

Dallas 8th drive:
-Cowboys have the ball on the chiefs 42
-Screen to Zeke only gains 4; would’ve been a massive play if thornhill didn’t make a huge tackle
-3rd and 1: Lamb catches it and the ball is on the 28
-Dak throws a pick in the end zone after a lot of contact by Ward

Chiefs 8th drive:
-No gain; time expires

[Halftime]

Dak: 13/21… 68 yards… 1 fumble 1 int 47.3 Rating
Mahomes: 11/18… 130 yards.. 1 fumble.. 83.1 rating

Chiefs 9th drive:
-mahomes gets away with an intentional grounding call (he was in the pocket and threw it to the 3rd row of the bleachers; ref say Hill was in the area, I guess he was eating hot dogs with the fans) and then passes for 8 yards on 2nd down
-3rd & 2: mahomes keeps and Jourdan Lewis almost stops him but he reaches out for the first down by about an inch or 2
- 25 yard pass to Kelce

[CeeDee Lamb is ruled out with a head injury]

-Chiefs pound the ball but get called for holding 2nd & 20
-Pressure on Mahomes but he gets it to Kelce for 15 yards
-3rd & 5; PICK by Jayron Kearse off of Kelce’s hands!! Returned to the chiefs 35!!

Cowboys 9th drive:
-Zeke rushes for 3; still can’t get the run game going
-Ton of pressure on Dak; throws it away
-3rd & 7: Caught by Wilson for 16
-1st down on chiefs 17: Zeke gains 5
-Terrible Jet sweep “pass” to Wilson; called incomplete
-3rd and 5: ton of contact on Gallup in the end zone - another terrible no call
-Zuerlin makes FG (16-6 chiefs)

Chiefs 10th drive:
-Another big return to the 35
-Parsons comes flying off the edge and sacks Mahomes again! That’s 8 sacks by the best rookie in football
-3rd & 13: pressure and bad pass by Mahomes
-Punt: Dallas almost blocks another one (touchback)

Cowboys 10th drive:
-Cowboys start at the 20 down by 10, and throw a 4 yard flat pass
-Zeke rushes for 4
-3rd & 2: Zeke catches a swing pass for no gain; Shultz messes up another assignment in the flat
-Punt

[Dallas can’t get anything going on offense vs. what I consider a bottom tier defense; the absence of Cooper, Lamb, Tyron is definitely showing]

Chiefs 11th drive:
-20+ yard gain on first down Mahomes to Kelce
[Cowboys D has made 5 straight stops but momentum is definitely in the chiefs favor]
-another first down by Hill
-another first down by Hartman
(ball at the cowboys 30)
-pressure on Mahomes & he throws it away
- Mahomes scrambles due to pressure and Wilson stops him for only a 3 yard gain
-3rd & 7: SACK by Armstrong (ball at the 35)
-53 yard FG try: Successful (19-6)

Cowboys 11th drive:
(We need a TD, stop, and another TD to quiet this crowd some & shift the momentum)
-Pollard rushes for 4 behind McGovern
-Pollard catches the ball for a 1st down (the 3rd first down in 5 drives)
-Play action: Dak to Gallup for 11 yards and another 1st down
-Pass to Wilson for 18 yards and another first down (Cowboys on chiefs 35)
-Screen to Pollard makes a sweeet move for 14 yards

[End of 3rd quarter]

-Cowboys are on the chiefs 21 and look like the Cowboys offense for the first time all day

-1st down: False start
-1st & 15: Zeke rushes for 4
-2nd & 11: Pass to Wilson in the flat for negative 2 yards
-3rd & 13: Dak is sacked by Jones again (just a 4 man rush vs. 5 linemen)
-48 yard fg: Successful (19-9) with 13 min to go

[Touchback]

Chiefs 12th drive:
-Kelce makes catch for 6 yards (penalty) 15 yard penalty on Dallas for pushing Hill, ball on the 46 yard line
-Chiefs run for 7
-Hill catches it for a 1st down
-Mahomes does a hocus pocus side arm throw; hits Hill and the ball bounces up in the air but no one is there to pick it
-2nd & 10; Mahomes rushes for 4
-3rd & 6: Micah comes flying off the edge but misses Mahomes, hill catches the ball for 4 yards
-4th & 2: 51 yard FG try: No good!

[KC has only scored 3 points in their last 6 drives, but the Cowboys can’t get anything going on offense; however they’re only down by 10]

Cowboys 12th drive:
-Dak launches a 50 yard pass but Wilson is well covered and the ball is incomplete
-Zeke catches a pass for 3 yards
-3rd & 7: pressure on Dak again; Sacked by Jones again (3.5 sacks on the day)
-Punt; ball on the 14..

8 min to go chiefs up by 10.

Chiefs 13th drive:
-Chiefs rush for 14 yards (they have 30 more rushing yards than Dallas so far)
-chiefs rush for 3
-2nd & 7: chiefs rush for 5
-3rd&2: Kelce catches it for a 1st down (ball on cowboys 45)
-Incomplete pass
-2nd down: rush for 4
-3rd down: Micah pressure, Mahomes hit hill for a short pass and Keanu Neal falls down so Hill converts the 1st down (Neal would’ve made them punt with that stop)
-10 yard run on 1st down
-Chiefs rush for no gain (Neal with a big hit)
-Timeout cowboys (2 left)
-2nd down: Sack by Micah! (3 sacks today, 9 on the year) 8 yard loss
-Timeout cowboys (1 left)
-3rd & 19: Screen pass for 8 yards
-Timeout cowboys none left
-Fg attempt (52 yards; it was a fake and they downed it on the 2)

Cowboys 13th drive:
-2:35 left
-Cowboys throw to Schultz
-The chiefs get away with another pass interference call that was so obvious even Joe buck & Troy called them out
-Schultz catches a 19 yard pass
-Wilson drops a perfect 30 yard missile (4th drop by cowboys WRs today)
-2nd & 10: Schultz catches a 5 yard pass
-3rd & 5: Dak is pressured but throws a Tony Romo like pass to Zeke for 20 yards
-Dak was pressured again and finds Zeke again for 8
-Cowboys at midfield - pass caught for 14
-Gallup catches it and we’re on the chiefs 20
-1:10 to go
-Pass tipped by Chris Jones (who sacked Dak 3.5 times, created a fumble that resulted in points, and tipped Dak’s pass)…..and sneed picks off Dak

Chiefs win 19-9; Dallas scores 0 TDs

Dallas is now 7-3 and play the Raiders in 4 nights
