Maybe not, but the kid from ND could be and teams will want to trade up for him.
Yeah, I just looked at the full draft so far and was shocked that it was not so far fetched as 1st thought. This is encouraging!

I know...........Love DeCastro, but I'm Greedy.

What did we get in trade down from 14 to 17?

I need DeCastro and Konz.
We got 57, which is awesome. So two 1st rounder would be possible?

22) Konz

45) Irvin

57) Crick

81) Martin FS

or Sub Barron for Konz and go Blake in 4, Broyles in 3.

This draft is super deep.

Take the trade and collect the extra picks.

Even if you miss DeCastro there are still many very high quality interior OL available - Glenn, Zeitler, Silatolu, Brandon Brooks, Peter Konz, Phil Blake, Osmele, Franklin, etc.

That extra 4th rounder you pick up might be Ryan Broyles, Jamell Fleming, Michael Egnew or Jared Crick in this incredibly deep draft.

The other pick could be your Akiem Hicks.

It is a mistake to give in too early to draft a non-impact player in such a deep draft at OG.

barron is off the board, also you might mean 17 for konz?

#22 - trade down for second rounder and 1st rounder in 2013

extra second rounder - Jared Crick or Reyes or Whitney Mercilus or Shea McClellin

#45 - best OG on the board (maybe Zeitler or Brandon Brooks or Amini Silatolu)

#57 - Casey Heyward

#81 - Bruce Irvin

#100 - Ryan Broyles

#113 - Hebron Fangupo

#118 - Chase Minnifield

#135 - Jake Bequette

This draft gets us our high quality OG and a slot WR. It also helps us rebuild our DL and OLBs while adding two hiqh quality physical CBs.

With a draft so stacked, it'd really suck if we come away with literally no one who will be certain to start in Week 1. What you've got here are some role players, one or two that *MIGHT* start in Week 1 and some guys that may never see the field. That's just disappointing to me.

It's the C or a CB for me.

Peter Konz is a day one starter at the weakest position in the offensive line. Konz would solidify the offensive line (at center) and give Dallas two first round picks in the offensive line (Smith and Konz). Is Konz a guy that I want to take to the New Meadowlands? Yes! Do I want to start Costa, Nagy, or Kowalski? No! It's Konz against 2 players who were not even drafted and a real late 7th round pick. All three of those guys are too small and not strong enough. Good centers are hard to find, and Konz could be the super-glue to the season at center. Dallas should be able to win with Bernadeau and Livings at both guard spots, because they are both significant upgrades over the 2010 and 2011 guards. You can put another guard in the pipe-line in this draft. Leary, in round 5, may be the way to go.

I don't trust Dallas' cornerbacks behind Brandon Carr, and I would really like Gilmore or Kirkpatrick, too. Can the Cowboys afford to pay two CBs huge money? Mike Jenkins is in a walk year, and he's coming off shoulder surgery, too. Orlando Scandrick is overvalued and overrated, imo. When will Dallas get the opportunity to draft a first round caliber CB, again? If Jenkins just averages his 2009 and 2011 seasons (and stays healthy), he will probably cost some big time money on the open market. You can never have enough CBs in the NFC East and NFC. The defense has major problems in the secondary and up front, imo. Something tells me that a first round CB will see the field and see it a bunch.

Don't take the trade.

Take one of the CBs (Gilmore or Kirkpatrick).

Arizona will probably take Glenn or Upshaw.

Let the Bears pick, and hopefully, they don't take the other CB. If Tennessee takes the other CB, the Bengals will still have DeCastro on the board. The Bengals could possibly take Konz if a CB or DeCastro isn't there for them. We don't want that.

Before you make up your mind, call New England and see if pick 27 is available and check on the price. You have the ammunition to get it, but we don't want to get jumped (by Baltimore or Green Bay) if we take the CB. Getting Konz is a big deal.

Summarize:

1. Take Gilmore or Kirkpatrick
2. Trade back up for Konz (New England # 27)

If the Cowboys, twice, trade down from 14, that tells me Stephen went on a bathroom break and Jerry locked the draft warroom door.

Stephon Gilmore
Dre Kirkpatrick
David DeCastro
Cordy Glenn

Any of these guys could have been the pick at 14, chances are one will be there at 22, worst case is Konz who is a day 1 starter. I think if you didn't love one of these guys enough to take him at 14 you might be inclinced to see what comes out at 22. It all depends on how you have these gguys rated.

I like all 4 guys and Konz is an upgrade to our weakest spot so I'd probably take the trade.

** Nevermind I was thinking pick 67, I\d tell them give me 67 or I'm taking my pick.

Take DeCastro. Too much of a gamble to trade down again.

For those crying for a center, you can move DeCastro there.

I'd take DeCastro and start him at center or play him at guard and start Bernaduex at center. Glenn is a nasty player. Gilmore, Mercilus and Branch would be in my thoughts too, especially Mercilus and Gilmore.

Just for fun though, I think Cleveland is coming up for Floyd, I don't know what SD would do but Mercilus is a possibility or Mercilus is coming off of the board to Chicago if not I think Chicago takes Jonathan Martin, I think the Titans would take Gilmore/Kirkpatrick, and the Bengals would take DeCastro. Glenn might be there for you at 22 or one of the 2 corners.

Sorry, forgot that San Diego is off of the board and Zona is on it.

So

Cle- Floyd
Zona-Glenn
Tenn- Gilmore or DeCastro
Bengals- Corner or DeCastro

So at 22 you would have either a leftover corner probably Kirkpatrick, DeCastro or Meciless/Branch. No mock drafts show it, but I think Cincy could also take a pass rusher.
