That "3rd round pick" was pretty much a consensus top 10 pick that year by every scout and talent evaluator. Sure he didn't pan out the way the scouts thought but its not like we reached for a 3rd rounder in the first. And we did not pick his option up. We resigned him as a free agent after not picking the option up. Other than that your post is spot on.

I agree that Claiborne was a bust for where we picked him but this blaming the Cowboys for drafting someone at a spot most felt he should go is laughable. (now trading up to get him... that is a different story - we should never have done that).

Lol learn what seperation means. Google it and then you can look at all the past posts on the zone as well as an interview from aikman on how the receivers on te cowboys struggle to get open and he thought it was a combination of both scheme and poor route running. To respond to your comment, dez makes his money by out jumping corners and through physical play, hes not so much a technician and yes he does struggle to get seperation.

I am all for making fun of divisional foes but I like their secondary much more than ours. Carr and Church again. Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! But maybe Claiborne puts it all together this year. Or maybe Terrance Mitchell is going to make us forget all about needing secondary help.
