I think people are missing the mark about what they are trying to ask, albeit very poorly.... it's not about the impact of Tank's impact or level of play on the field, but the impact his contract will have on other teams signing top tier defenders. Tank's contract will have an impact on the negotiations for Seattle/Clark and Houston/Clowney I would think it impacts Seattle the most, in large part to Wilson possibly ending up being the highest paid player in the NFL when his contract is done. They were probably thinking they could get Clark signed in the 17-18 range, but now it may take 20-21 and force them into making roster moves they didn't anticipate or want to make.
