can we bump the AOA thread now and call all the people drooling over that pick dummies or does it only apply the other way?

How many 4th round picks would you give up for Ed Reed?

In other words its worth the pick every year on these type of players.....big picture wise IMO

I'll admit I was puzzled with the Johnson pick because I don't know anything about him really.

But I loved the Coale pick. I am a fan of him and I think he'll do well here.

Threads like this make me wonder if I'm at the Ranch Report.

I think what you mean to say is "There are other players I have heard of and like better on the board and we are passing up."

I'm sure the team is picking the players they think are the best options.

SO TRUE

Did you really just compare our mid-late round reaches to Ed Reed?

The same Ed Reed who was a known and hot commodity coming out of Miami, a school known for its DB pedigree, who was picked 24th overall?

Man, pass me what you're smoking cause that makes no damn sense.

I really like the Coale pick too. It's just the picks between Crawford and him that are head scratchers.

Our site and even long time vets here have really let me down the past couple of days.

One would think grown men would stop the Madden approach and go back to his plumbing business, shipping business, limo driving business, legal advice business, cake decorating business and leave the actual BUSINESS of football to men who's entire lives have been wrapped around it.

This has been really embarrassing to read through for this Cowboys fan.

I'm sorry you are embarrassed. I never blast or ridicule any poster on here. I state my opinions and feelings about what the Cowboys are doing - sometimes it is positive and sometimes it is negative. I have discovered a pattern however, which is if anybody who criticizes what the Cowboys are doing, they themselves get attacked. I keep hearing how much more the powers that be know than the fans on this site. I concede you are right, but evidently they do NOT know more than the administrations of some of the other teams that keep winning playoff games and SBs. One play off win in 16 years and they know everything? Before somebody tells me to change to one of those winning teams, I am a die hard fan and live and die with them. For the last few years, I've done more dying than living.

I have family members that I criticize at times but none of them have ever told me to go find another family. Why do those who believe the owner/GM/coach are always right try to run people off who disagree.

I met Coach Landry personally and enjoyed his 20 consecetive winning seasons. I enjoyed the SB teams Jimmy coached. I have been a staunch fan since the team first started and I've taken a lot of heat from fans from other teams. Whether you haters or lovers stick or leave I'll still be here. However, just because anybody disagrees with me, I want them to stay. Those who disagree why don't you disagree with my position without attacking people like me personally. Incidently, I'm not qualified to work for the businesses you listed. I'm retired.

Do you have any idea what online draft resources this guy has access to, or how much time he's spent preparing foer this draft? Show a little respect.

15 years, 1 playoff win. You tell me. Jerry jones isn't Ozzie newsome that's for sure.

Maybe not but they looked a lot alike before Jerry got some work done on his face.

Why don't you read what I wrote ******* instead of insulting me.

HOW MANY 4TH ROUND PICKS WOULD YOU GIVE UP FOR ED REED?

Since ed was not selected 4th no good safety can come out of that round? I was talking about taking a gamble and you knew that.....get over your self

i don't see why, every fan base reacts the same way.....*** WHY DIDN"T THEY TAKE <insert player name>!!!!!! or OMG THEY GOT <insert player name>, CHAMPIONSHIP!!!!!!

don't see why anyone should expect posters here to be different.

funny thing is some of the draft classes I liked have been pretty bad, so while I'm upset we haven't drafted a center (the guy from Southern Miss is still available), it's not the end of the world.

I always think of AOA when this comes up too.

wilbur will make it,matt johnson will be lucky to make the practice squad.

Noticing a pattern here:

1) Create post with controversial title

2) Spew some crap in the body of post

3) DISAPPEAR from thread altogether in cowardly fashion

4) Wait until thread cycles off of front page
