It's a wasted down or a turnover.

Whenever the ball is thrown deep to his side, I get excited. I know that an INT is just as likely as a completion... maybe even more likely.

I'm thoroughly convinced he's one of the few elite CBs in the game. On the level of a Revis or an Asomugha.

Absolutely love this kid.

I agree 100%. This kid is awesome. I love the way he plays and the swagger he plays with.

Swagger is the right word. How can anybody not like this guy? He is a baller.

And everyone wanted Scandrick to start this year.

I am willing to admit I was of the dumb ***es that thought Scandrick should of got the nod. I guess thats why I am a fan and not a coach. lol Gotta love the way Jenkins is playing.

Ware gets all the pub, and rightfully so, but I think Jenkins plays his position as well as any defensive player we've had since the mid '90s.

I thought he should have made the Pro Bowl this year. He was legit this year.

(And yes, I was a Scandrick guy at the beginning of the season. Whoops)

These past 3 or 4 games I agree Jenkins just might be the 2nd best DB behind Revis! Woo hoo!

Jenkins=great athletic Ability+Great instincts

which is rare in the NFL you either get 1 or the other

Henry=great instincts

Hall=great athletic ability

Newman=athletic ability

Scandrick the same.......just to name a few

Jenkins is the best of both worlds

In the last few games Jenkins developed into a real shutdown corner.

I always critic TNEW for not being one and alot of people might think i am a TNEW hater. I am not. I just have high demands regarding a high payed CB and his play. Look at Jenkins and you may see the difference between a CB playing great and a CB playing just good.

Jenkins is just so good right now. I hope he will continue to play like that. I a happy for him. He also seems like a good man.

the only difference between the 2...is Jenkins knows how to play ball

Athletic wise, there is no big gap.....jenkins can play the ball great....and is rarely overly aggressive

Newman can stride for stride with them all....but its 50/50 as to if he will make a play or not

Jenkins fears no receiver.

And I loved how Aikman said Macklin had him beat deep but Mcnabb under threw him. Jenkins was measuring him and playing the ball correctly.

I don't really believe Aikman is a Dallas hater, but he does say some things that make me wonder at times.

Scandrick played pretty well today, too. He was in position and running downhill to tackle receivers for short gains.

Jenkins is always beat when he makes those interceptions and pass breakups?? Right? Well, that's what the media and fans think.

After our Saints win, the Saints fan were saying Jenkins was beat on his INT. Now Jenkins was beat on his pass deflection?

Jenkins is always beat (according to Cowboys haters), yet he always makes the play.

The thing I think makes Jenkins so special is what was mentioned above: He has the athletic ability that some guys have, but combined with the technique and ball skills which makes him insanely good. He's quickly going right up there with Ware as my favorite Cowboys.

Oh, and to follow up the admissions of some others in this thread... I was very down on Jenkins after last year and also thought Scandrick should be the starting RCB this year.

Sometimes being completely wrong kicks major ***. :)
