Well seeing as how you've already admitted that you don't even watch hockey on a regular basis, I'd say what you think is pretty much crap. Why don't you go "crap" in someone else's thread since you obviously don't have anything valuable to offer to this one. K?

However, the Penguins will be heavily favored if the Capitals advance. Teams that have uneducated, bandwagon fans such as yourself tend to be heavily favored. Weird how that works out, huh?

bandwagon fan? I have been a Penguins fan since the late 80s....They don't really show a lot of hockey in TX, or at least they didn't back then. But since I have always liked Penguins....the first time I saw them play, they instantly became my favorite team. Super Mario was absolutely amazing. He is my all time favorite player....But I also likes the two brothers they had as enforcers, Ulf and Kjell Samuelsson. If there was a fight in a Penguins game, one of those two seemed to always be involved. I was a fan of Jagr, until he got the big head and left Pittsburgh.

BTW....of course the Pens would be heavily favored, they are the 2 seed. They should be favored over everyone but Montreal. I am hoping someone upsets the Habs, cause I dont want any part of them.

Of course, the way the Red Wings are playing, it doesn't matter if Pittsburgh comes out of the East, I don't think they have enough to beat the Wings in a 7 game series....but it sure would be exciting.....especially since I know a few Red Wings fans personally.

Then I definitely heard them booing their team when the team still had a chance for a comeback!

fairweather? how does being a Pens fan since the 80s make me fairweather? They weren't exactly Champions when I started rooting for them.....I started rooting for them cause of the name Penguins, not cause of their success.....it was only after following them for a while and trying to learn the game as a kid, that I found them to be a good team.

Still, when I was little, Edmonton was the team winning all the Championships with Gretzky......and Montreal was the Boston Celtics and New York Yankees of Hockey.

Other than Pittsburgh, the only other team I have rooted for from time to time is Toronto....That is cause I like their uniforms...they are clean. I love the blue and white. This is the same reason I have always liked the Colts.....the uniforms, simple yet very effective.

but thank you for your insults......i will refrain from retaliating with the same type of 3rd grade insults....

BTW, I am more of a fan of Malkin than I am Crosby.
