Some noob soccer fan comes in here and complains about lifelong Cowboys fans complaining about how pathetic our team has been playing. What's the world coming to? :bang2:

Any noob who comes into a message board and tells everyone how they should act if they were true fans is guaranteed to be a bandwagon fan himself.

I've been a fan of the Cowboys since 1963, been through tough times and great times and I've earned the right to complain when the team isn't living up to its potential.

While I love the premise of this thread...no whiners or whining for us because we are Cowboys fans and should be above this; I just can't get behind the movement.

This forum is about being a place for people to vent their frustrations just as much as it's about shouting for joy. I don't want anyone to go away. I want people to post more. I want the lurkers to stop lurking and start posting and for all of us to enjoy the forum to its fullest.

If this forum were only about sunshine and roses it would fail miserably. I can't get behind failure, after all, I am a Cowboys fan and failure is unacceptable to us.

I guess many people dont know the meaning between being frustrated and venting vs whinning about every little aspect of the Dallas Cowboys. And im a football fan but yes thats what the world has come to, you need a hardcore soccer fan to teach you what true pride is about. There are those this isnt pointed towards so stop acting offended if your 100 years old and like the cowboys, that doesnt mean other people who have been around for years have the same pride. I take my hat off to those who vent but dont cross the line.

it's not the support going up and down like a yoyo, it's the emotions. if the support were gone, they'd not be here whining, now would they?

look, i get frustrated with people thinking with a few phone calls we can make all the madden dream trades come true and that will fix everything.

i get frustrated with those who look down on those who question the "front office" and then they go on some dry tangent of how i just don't "get it" cause the moves our coaches make, make perfect sense.

then the ones that really crack me up are the ones who paint perfect scenarios at which ilfe will unfold. before this season started our OL was gonna be hunky dory cause rivera had a year (despite my saying back problems don't go away and rivera will likely suck again) to heal, flo will come back healthy, kozier will replace allen, and blah blah blah...and they actually believe it will either all happen or in their hearts that's their hope.

but people are going to express themselves differently and by nature, we're short sighted. a win cures a lot of problems and a loss causes at least as many more. it's the love we *all* share for the team that brought us here and in the end we *all* (myself included) needs a bit more tolerance of other views and the manner in which their expressed.

Problem is even when we win, 2/3 of the posts are negative.

I have no problem with the regular posters who complain, I know Dbair1967, BBgun and others think the raison d'etre of this board is to complain. I have no problem with that. My problem is with posters who only appear after losses to complain.

The degree of the thumpings from two NFC playoff bound teams we lost to..and may face again. The defensive 'let down'. Being out-coached! Losing at all in December! The losing 2 of the last 3....it's all put that 'can't beat the good teams' onus back on the team.

I just wish more people would go look at the schedule/WL's and look at it from more of a macro view.

Going into that Arizona game, we accomplished exactly what we wanted too.
