It's got to be a weird day at the practice facilities today.

Call me strange, but I want the Giants to win. I want to celebrate it all Monday because the Cowboys clinched it that night, not because the Giants failed four days earlier.

naturally I want the ability to exhale and have the cowboys clinch tonight with a giants loss

However there are two things about this that bug me. The first is I want it to be hard for Dallas, I kind of want them to have to win monday and at Philly even though that is making me extremely nervous. I just feel like its going to workout better if its harder.

the second is the Giants and the ny media have spent the past 10 days talking about super bowls. All these players who have never played or won a playoff game on that roster talking about how they are a Super Bowl team and its their year. The media has basically declared them the best team in the league. I do not want the giants to lose and refocus. I kind of want them thinking they are the best team and having the ny media pump sunshine up their rear for two weeks. The ny media has already declared Dallas can not beat them so if they keep winning it will only ramp that up and that is excellent for Dallas well as long as we win out.

I understand what any of us thinks means nothing and has no effect on the outcome of the games but I still think it fits garrett's style and is better for the team if they have to win out....but admittedly if the eagles win I will exhale a little also like everyone else.

I hope so also, but for a different reason.

Be nice to see the Giants back into the playoffs instead of being on a roll. I know we would benefit, but really is more important is that I would rather the Giants go into the playoffs questioning themselves more than rolling.
