Go on record: Predict the 2006 Dallas Cowboys record.

I'm going to assume that the Cowboys will have a winning record since they had one last year and with so much youth, they can only get better. I'm also going to assume they won't be breaking the Dolphins record anytime soon. So it's a 15-1 and on down in the poll. There is a choice for 'other' if you think the Cowboys will be so bad, their record isn't on the poll. (I'm talking to you Commanders and Eagles homers that visit our board. )

It's a public poll that ends before the regular season starts.

Last year, we did the same thing, and I think the popular pick was 10-6 so most folks were one game off, although 9-7 was the 2nd most popular pick.

I wonder what is the popular opinion this year? Are we a 12-4 team? Still a 9-7 or 10-6 team? What do you think?

My bad. I couldn't remember who started it last year. You can erase this if you want. I honestly don't need an entire preseason to predict this team's record, that's why I was going early. This is not like the previous teams in recent years that were horrible from the beginning and slowly started to progress. Except for their very first opening jitters drive, the Cowboys have been fully functional since game one of the preseason.

No reason to delete it If nothing else you can compare the difference between now and then in the majority of predictions by users.

I just prefer to wait until the end of preseason because then you will be aware of all injuries, which players have made the team, etc.

I think you're all alone in your opinion on this one. It's preseason. We have nothing to do but speculate. What better to speculate about than the record?

I voted 10-6. I think that this team is significantly better than the one fielded last year, but the schedule is real tough. The race for the division will be tight until the end.

My bold prediction for the year: The Giants will open the season 0-4.
