It's 7-0 in favor of the Pats in the 2nd quarter. A loss by the Bucs here would be helpful, huh?

21-0 now. Pats are rolling- hopefully the BUcs are folding.
Brady just does not look as good this year- he has thrown two passes that were flat out dropped by D backs. Just in the first half. I have watched the Pats on 4 different occasions this year and I can safely say that not only has the injuries brought them down, but that they do not have the coaching they had last year. Losing Weis and Crennel have hurt this team. Pretty much lays to rest the idea advanced by some that Bellicek was the whole reason they were so good.

Well I think the Bucs are probably going to win their division, im not sure what they have to to wrap it up.

For now, I will be rooting against the Panthers, Vikings and Falcons.

But the Patriots are peaking at the right time as the score is now 21-0. They just may be the only hope of keeping the Colts from going undefeated entirely.

As long as anyone in the NFC not named Dallas loses, I'm fine with it.

Most forget that Belichick didn't do squat in Cleveland. He inherited BP's coaching staff, tweaked everything a little and the rest is history.

The Bucs need to keep losing so that in the minute chance the Commanders are in contention, they lose out to a team that has a direct tiebreaker over them. Plus, if the Panthers win their division and beat us, we won't have to deal with losing a tiebreaker like that to another wild card team.

All things considered, I think Brady has had a pretty amazing season. Their OL has been hit hard by injuries and they had no running game for most of the season. Brady has pretty much single handedly kept the Pats above water. He leads the NFL in yards passing and has thrown 22 TD passes. The guy is an incredible QB. They seem to be playing their best ball as the playoffs approach, but I think the Colts will beat them in the 2nd round.

I get a little tired of the media gushing about the Pats, but would you want to see that team in the playoffs of the AFC? That team knows how to win big games.

Wow, I think Tampa Bay's offensive line might be worse than ours.

Assuming the Bucs lose this game and the Cowboys beat the Skins, would we be ahead of the Bucs? We'd have identical conf. records, and the next tiebreaker is common oppents, but I'm not sure how that works out of the division, anyone know?

None of that would matter if the Panthers lose as well, because if both those teams lose the Bucs will still be #1 in the South.

If the Panthers win though, I'm not sure what happens.

Chris Simms is getting abused by the Pats.

If we can't win the division and get a bye, I would personally love to see Dallas playing the Bucs in the wild card round, home or away.

The Bucs are not that good that we cannot take them; there is not a team in the NFC we cannot take down. But it is interesting how the so called hot teams are not hot at the moment. Seattle has won 9 in a row- they might start to cool off.
This does not hurt the BUcs that much since it is a loss to the AFC. They play Atlanta then NO. Realistically they should win out. Carolina has us, Atlanta, NO. The Vikes have to play Pitt and Chicago and Balt. As regards wild card, we are in good shape.

I hate the Patriots almost as much as the Eagles and that was way before they started winning but i'm glad they won today and helped us out there
