If the Cowboys win every game except vs the Dolphins and the Eagles win every game except vs the Seahawks, would the Cowboys be the division winner?
I believe the answer is No. because that implies Philly beats Arizona.

Jets Cardinals cancel
Seahawks Dolphins cancel
49ers
Each other

Still tied on common opponents - goes to Conference.

Conference would be tied too. I believe so then it goes to strength of victory where Eagles have a huge advantage. We’d need a lot of the bad teams we beat to start winning a lot.

So is Geno playing?

That's basically what this game comes down too. I don't think Drew Lock can beat Philly, but Geno can.

Which Geno will we get, though? The one who looked like a prime Tom Brady against us? Or the one who looked like what Geno has his whole career against SF?
I don’t think they’ll get the same Geno we did. The thing about that game is that the Seahawks had a “come-to-Jesus” meeting with their offensive coaches (offense had been bad) before the Dallas game and decided to change everything up. That is a big reason why they played so well on offense. They did things in that game that they hadn’t been doing all season, which of course made Quinn’s game plan against them pretty much useless. Quinn had to adjust in the second half to what they were doing.

Now, Geno was 100% on fire that day and made a few incredible throws… but nothing messes up a defense as much as changing everything up than what your offense has been putting on tape.

I doubt that Seattle changes everything up again although there is a chance that Geno gets hot.

Listen, with this new dog collar play that they have Hurts doing to prevent his fumbles, I believe this will be the key to their Superbowl dreams....

I just don't trust Geno at all. His whole career, he's looked below average except for a fluke season last year. I don't trust him to win any big games, especially against teams better than his.

True but conversely, the Eagles defense appears to be significantly worse than ours, so they might not have to change up much at all. As long as Geno plays well and protects the ball, they should move the ball and score. The problem is the Seahawks defense is pretty bad and Philly might "find" themselves offensively against such an inept D.

I don’t disagree.

However, I somewhat trust Pete Carroll to have enough control over the game plan and Geno himself, to get him to play good enough to win some games.

Pete gets it…

Yeah, but luckily they have Devon Witherspoon (my favorite player in this draft) and he can make some plays.

I’m half kidding, but I do love Witherspoon and he will blow up a guy if they give him a chance. He might get some licks in on those receivers.

Heard this morning on The Fan 105.3 that the rain has been upped to 80% and winds up to 31 MPH gusts....hardly making everything "Dak perfect" as required....not very confident at all that we can capitalize on a Philly loss....Allen could throw 50+ yards on his knees into a 31 mph wind....these elements will have zero effect on him. BTW...I've noticed for years that our WR's go into a shell in bad conditions as well....get zero separation.
You sound like you are hoping the Cowboys lose.

Ever played in a 6 inch sudden flood? One can literally almost drown on the bottom of a pile...6 inches of snow is brutal.

Yeah, I think they were up 16 games last I checked. We couldn't afford to lose to Miami and expect to win strength of victory. They beat Miami, Buffalo, and the Chiefs.

If our loss was to Buffalo, and then we beat Miami and Detroit, that could pick up a lot of points. But we'd still need help.

Don't forget, the Eagles still have two to play against the GOAT; Tommy "Chicken Cutlets" DeVito.
yeah true. But they seem to be battling some internal issues with the staff in Philly. Eagles have deeper problems I think, than on the field.

Like the Bills, the Seahawks are scratching and clawing to stay in the playoff race. Sometimes the team who needs and wants it more beats the more talented team on that any given Sunday.

That could happen in both the Eagles and Cowboys games if we're both not careful.

Hope so for them and not for us, lol.

Can the Seahawks help the Cowboys out this weekend? Can they give the Eagles their 3rd straight loss? It would be nice to know going into the game against the Bills that a win puts the Cowboys in first place in the division alone. That would at least give them the 2-seed, with a chance for the 1-seed down the line.
If we need help we don't belong. Take care of business.

Everything has to be Dak perfect?

What a joke! You choose to see what you want to see. Go back and watch the Charger game. Dak won that game with piss poor blocking and no running game!
