I'm sick of hearing about Dak vs. Romo. The heat and soul of this team is the OL.

They've been playing quite far below the world renowned best in the league label. Tomorrow night it's time for them to decide HFA is there for the taking and dominate these next two games. If they do that, I don't think we'll be talking about Dak vs. Tony.

True but the whole team struggled last week in NY. I think we were ripe for a loss and seemingly, many other factors pointed to a letdown as well. This team has had a week to look at film and decide upon a cure for what has ailed them. Here's hoping things go better now.

The whole offense will almost always struggle if the OL isn't good. This is supposedly the best unit in the NFL, son I'm sick is hearing how great the DL we're facing has been playing.

It's time for the big boys to win this thing. If we're going anywhere in the playoffs they're gonna have to be the group to do it, so start tomorrow night.

The O-Line did the same late in the season back in 2014 as well. Didn't like it then & wont like it now. Hope they bounce back.

This is the time when we will see what thos team is made of. Bounce back and win a game they have to pretty much win, and get back on track.
Nothing will be easy, and they will have to earn it, and show they are SB worthy. Not that they haven't shown it already. But they can't get in a funk either.

Gut check time to go out and win this thing. And win the next 2 games making the last game a non factor.

They really got pushed around against the Giants and frankly totally embarrassed by their play.

Time to get physical and reestablish themselves as the best line in the league status against the Bucs.

I don't think they got pushed around that much. There were a number of plays where Spagnuolo out-schemed the Cowboys...for instance flooding 3 defenders flanked where only Free and Dunbar had a chance to block.

Free and Dunbar aren't going to block 3 guys.

On another play Leary didn't get the play right and was pass blocking instead of run blocking.

FredBeard got beat one play right off the snap, but I don't think there were a lot of times where members of the line were whupped.

Agreed. The oline has not been great the last couple weeks. I'm confident they'll turn it back around, though.

They played fine against the Giants and gave Dak plenty of time for more than three quarters. Smith was abusing Vernon and Spags was trying to flood his side. 86 yards rushing in one half is anything but playing bad..

Dak has been sacked only 21 times.

When teams are stacking 6 go stop Zeke and daring the QB to beat you with your arm, of course your going to breakdown eventually..

Very good observation. We lost battles at crucial moments of the game.

There is no best OL in the league, and even if they were the best, that doesnt mean they can dominate any DL.
It is about match ups, and schemes.
Our guys tend to have problems with the bigger interior D linemen.

Yeah, it's on the OL when your playcalling is predictable all the time and your QB plays like hot garbage. Sure.

Gerald McCoy is going to be a challenge to control in the middle. Free and Martin are going to have their hands full.

I don't get this? The oline has been great. When you send 6-7 guys to stop the run daring the QB to beat you there are going to be negative plays.

The only way to stop it is the QB must keep the defense honest and make adjustments in his protection during his pre-snap.

The coaches are going to have to step their game up as well. They're going to have to stop being lazy and actually put some thought into the game plan. In the past few weeks rarely do we have play designs that completely fool the defense and that allow our receivers to get wide open with room to run after the catch.

That TD pass to Williams was a perfect example of what we need more of.

The Dallas OL is tops when it comes to run blocking but not so when pass blocking and therein lies their drawback. I'm not saying they're bad at pass blocking but certainly not the best in that area. I'm sure they'll be on their toes if we meet NY in the playoffs but how that scenario plays out remains to be seen. I'm hoping we figure them out between now and then. I'm not giving up on them by any means, that's for sure.

True. Sometimes it takes a loss to awaken something in a team that got lost along the way.

If they're not ready the next time they meet, it's quite possible that they'll need more talent.
