It's a shame that the video accompanying the vote matches Madden graphics from Aikman's era to the graphics of Deuce Mcallister's era.

They should put Aikman in the current graphics!

There's a movement going on to attempt to get Jake Delhomme on the cover because of the hilarity that would ensure, especially because he's up against Joe Montana in the first round. I'm all for this idea but I'm not sure if EA would let that happen even if Jake did get more votes. They may have learned from the Peyton Hillis cover a few years.

I can't believe there are so many people that play video games that this got a thread. But I guess without this game many posters would have hundreds of fewer posts, they wouldn't be able to reply "this ain't Madden", so knowledgeable.

It's the 25th anniversary of Madden so they're taking two players from each team; a current guy (Dez) and a player from the past (Aikman).
