He just trashed the eagles organization for the trade on NFL network. Pure gold!!

Why the Eagles got over on the Commanders McNabb has not played a full season in over 3 years. He is what 33/34 age wise.

he has chocked for them more times in the playoffs they have a young gun they think is ready and they milked a 2nd round pick for an old washed up QB a High 2nd round pick at that and a possible 2nd pick next year.

Deion is a moron

He also said Dallas would suck after getting rid of Owens.

I don't really care much about what he has to say, he has bias behind every single one of his opinions.

Opinion=bias.

Deion labels Donovan deal "dumbest trade ever," coins new phrase in the process

Posted by Mike Florio on April 9, 2010 1:48 PM ET

We can never close the book on a high-profile NFL transaction without considering the perspective of Deion Sanders.

And Deion has spoken.

In a Thursday night appearance on NFL Network, Deion compares the trade of Donovan McNabb from the Eagles to the Commanders to the "Herschel Walker shibacle."

Yes, shibacle. (Sheil Kapadia of philly.com spells it with an "o".) The next linguistic development presumably will come when Emmitt Smith converts the term into the verb form, "to shibacle."

Sanders eventually calls the move the "dumbest trade ever."

Later in the spot, Deion uses the term "debacle," which makes us think that maybe he was intentionally combining the word "****" and "debacle." If so, well played, Deion. Well played.

the more Deion talks about how bad the trade was the more I'm thinking it really wasn't. let's face it unless Deion is talking about the cornerback position he's no different from an average fan with his opinions.

Dear Deion,

The hate is strong. You must feel the hate around you. Through the hate, things you will see. Other places. The future...the past. Old fans long gone.

Sincerely,

From what I have heard from him so far ( from what I heard, Deion might have been involved in the whole Aikman yelling at Black players fiasco, other than the coach who was involved, but I could be wrong on that though, since I am not 100% sure there), he does seem like he has some race issues big time. I am not exactly sure, but I think he is quick to insinuate someone as racist. Numerous instances, don't care to eloborate, but he came off as borderline racist.

But personally don't like the guy that much, because, other than being a clown on TV, he is no expert. He might be expert on DB play though, but not much more.
I seriously doubt Deion would've been half as outraged if McNabb was white.

I sadly think that's true.

There was a separate interview with him and Eisen yesterday where they were talking about the top 20 draft picks of all time, and Deion was listed in there. Eisen asked him if he had gotten a chip on his shoulder after every pick went by and he wasn't drafted.

Deion said no because he was thinking business. He wanted Troy to go first because he was a quarterback and would "set the contract bar high for the rest of us." Then he said he wouldn't "mix" with the other cities that didn't draft him.

Finally he said he was happy Atlanta drafted him because he'd "never seen a place that had prominent African-Americans as police men, lawyers, doctors, etc." and that he liked that.

Like someone said before, at the least he's a bigot. At the most, he's a racist.

That's not even remotely true.

If I think Obama's is a good president, it's because I like his policies and political views. That's an opinion. If I like Obama because he's one of my uncles or something, that's bias.
