where is all the buzz about Wayne cutting off that route? Or why he and Peyton were not on the same page like Roy 11?

Funny how things go in the media when there ain't a star on the side of your head...

Blame Reggie for that pick, not Manning.

I have to agree in the blame for Reggie. I really thought he stopped short on that route. However, comparing the chemistry between Reggie and Payton vs Roy and Romo are ludicrious. I don't even know where to begin to discredit it.

They were saying just that this morning on the Dan Patrick show. Can't remember who he had on but they were saying that Wayne quite on the route.

Can you provide proof? I heard in the news conference both said the New Orleans player just made a great play.

Reggie Wayne also dropped a catchable ball at the goal line, end of game. Peyton's receivers did him no favors yesterday.

But its not hypocrisy. You could argue that Manning and Wayne have the best QB/WR chemistry in the league. One of them screwed up (whoever you blame, Manning or Wayne). Regardless, it happens.

Comparing the RW and TR situation is completely different. They have zero chemistry. They have zero skins on the wall. When RW does 1/4 of what Wayne does on a football field, come back and talk about hypocrisy. But until then, there simply is no comparison.

This was a good observation. None of those receivers stepped up yesterday. Normally they are making plays all over the field, but all of them looked completely average yesterday.

T.O. begs for it w/ his overly ctitical of teammates attitude. C'mon now.

But for the record

TO > Marvin Harrison

on and off the field

Give me a break with this 'none of those receivers stepped up nonsense'. How bout some blame for Manning. He threw a terrible pass early in that drive that he was intercepted on. That pass should have been intercepted by Jenkins. The only misstep's I saw from the receivers was Garcon's drop and Wayne's route on the INT and I am not going to fully blame that on him. Manning made some poor decisions out there. He tried to go for it all on that 3rd and 11 and missed the receiver which resulted in Stover having to kick that 51 yarder. When instead Manning should have tried to get 5-10 yards to get closer for a FG or go for it on 4th down. He also missed Collie on the INT when he was cutting across the middle trying to force it to Wayne.

I haven't heard Wayne's comments, but I would have to assume that he realized the corner had jumped the route, and probably new that it was an easy 6 if Peyton just throws it up.

We can get caught up in symantics, but it is hypocrisy. It is what it is. Remember the first year that T.O. was in town, there was no "issue" with breaking off routes. It all came out/happened as the team slid in year two.

Granted Manning and Wayne are solid, maybe the best. But my point is that if we are going to pile on when things go bad (i.e the above example), then we must pile on when things go bad (i.e Super Bowl)...Just stay consistent.

That's it...if this was Romo it would be a front page headline and you know it.

Newsflash. QB's will throw bad passes every now and then. It doesn't mean he's not a great QB. With MAYBE one or two exceptions, there isn't a team in the league that isn't better if they had him as QB.

Trust me...I'm a Florida grad. No one is harder on Manning than we were. Garcon, Collie, Wayne...none of them showed up when he needed them.

Uh where did I say he's not a great QB and where did I will say QB's don't throw bad passes. I think you need to start over and read what is going on in this thread.

I disagree I think they did but Wayne was covered pretty good. Garcon caught the only TD, Collie made catches that he could get to. I mean Manning threw for over 300 yards so his receivers did a lot of things right including Addai and Clark as well. Like I said I don't recall the receivers doing much wrong yesterday except for Garcon's drop and maybe Wayne on that INT.
