Goedert on trade block. Any interest?

I hadn't heard that he's available. If he wound up on the Cowboys it would haunt the Eagles until he retires. We haven't had someone like him since Witten retired, but this guy is a better blocker. The Eagles would never trade him to us

What would we have to give up, though? That's the problem. We'd have to give up a draft pick to a team that is really building the basis of its team in the draft — in exchange for an aging player. Doesn't make a lot of sense unless he was the final, missing piece of the puzzle.

Philly shuffles the deck every year. They don't hold onto aging vets they feel can be replaced with younger , cheaper players. Great TE class in this years draft.

Goedert is a Cowboy fan. Grew up a Cowboy fan and thought he was going to be picked by us in round 2 of the 2018 draft. Philly traded up right in front of us to grab him. We got Conner Williams instead. If we can get him for cheap, he upgrades the position.

Because he is a forgotten man. Gets no attention when he sneaks out. Agree on the blocking though

It’s an embarrassment of riches… Saquon, AJ Brown, Devonte Smith. He’s always been an excellent TE. Top of tier 2 behind the elites like Kelce and Kittle. Im a little shocked cause he’s very good but has been hurt a bunch. But Ferg is not a better receiver or blocker

Looks like they are cutting salary. He is on the last year of his deal. He has missed a few games in each of the last three seasons. When healthy he is clearly better than anyone we have and he is a beast in the run game. Dude is the opposite of soft. Dak would love him. But he is 30.

I bet he would not play for us.
