I'm sold on Goff. Liked him a lot before today but the he made all the throws. He stood tall took some hits and kept firing.

People nitpicking don't seem to watch a lot of college football.Goff is as close to a complete quarterback you get in college nowadays.I shudder to think what you will make of Lynch because their offense is truly basic.teams are not worried that anymore.

They just showed a montage of all his tds....it appeared he never looked anywhere but his first read.

Playing pitch and catch.

I like what the kid did and I really want a QB in round 1 but that stood out to me as well. But I'd take his accuracy any down field touch any day.

Lynch would have to be perfect tomorrow to match Goffs performance. Lights out today. Obviously Air Force is not the 85 bears but his pin point accuracy even when he is getting hit is fantastic. What you called rainbow throws I would call amazing touch. He was spot on with short, intermediate passes and even better on deep balls.

That's probably because he read the formation pre-snap and already had a good idea where to go with the ball before the snap? I mean all six passes did result in TDs...

Or because he was playing Air Force...no seriously Air Force...and he plays in the Spread...no seriously the Spread.

The kid could turn out to be good.

But people using this game as the referendum on his draft status should relax.

I'd still prefer the stud with all the measurables in Lynch. I mean the goal is to sit him for 2 to 3 years right?

The only things keeping Dallas from getting a QB-of-the-future in this draft is winning the final game this season, not being willing to trade up if the race for them gets pricey, or being absolutely stupid.

Right, why look away if the first read is open for a TD.

You mean the 50 yards right on the money dime? Looks he can metriculate the ball down the field just fine.

Beautiful throws....leading the WR and dropping in over DB.

I don't remember the last time Romo throw a bomb leading his WR...anyone?

I know. I want to see him light it up. If he struggles or takes his foot off the gas, it will say a lot.

Looking back, I now see how you could draw the conclusion that I was insinuating that Auburn's defense is good.

It's all good. I was slighting auburn more than anything else haha

The 9'ers might be all over him

I'm not so sure about that...what they gonna do with Kaepernick? Per Spotrac:

Colin Kaepernick signed a 6 year,$114,000,000 contract with the San Francisco 49ers, including a$12,328,766 signing bonus, $61,000,000 guaranteed, and an average annual salary of$19,000,000.

This 6-year deal ends in 2020 and it's a toxic contract. Unless they unload him, I highly doubt they draft Goff.

They can get out of it with very little pain. Those guarantees are staggered until April 1st every year.

If they June 1st cut him they will have a 2.4m cap hit, if they take the full hit it is only 7.4m. That is a savings of over 7m and they are already 38m under the cap.

I choose #3.
