So many of you disagreed with me over Goff < Wentz...

When you see both guys play in an NFL game you can't even compare the 2 from a physical standpoint.

Goff looks like a weakling at the position and with a noodle arm.

I had him down for a Sam Bradford at best.. He may not ever get up to that level.

Also, I know it's his first game but i'm just looking at what he offers physically and I don't see a whole lot there to like.

The point of this thread is for you guys to apologize to me.. Who wants to start?

One game, so too early to let the curtain down IMO. I never liked him but two years is about the minimum to evaluate QB's, even Dak needs to get through the sophomore year to be fully seasoned.
He is going to be a coach killer for the Rams unless his needle starts shifting up.

Agree with the one game thing.. I can't judge his career off 1 game.

What I can do is take another look at how his physical ability translates to the pro's.

He looks like a fish out of water. Maybe he'll develop into a Kirk Cousins type down the road.

I was actually shocked,i dont think his Arm is too bad but they had zero game plan to help a rookie.

As a guy who doesn't follow college at all, I have no dog in this hunt. But Goff has been put in about the worst possible situation. The Rams coaching and offensive scheme are a travesty. As Mike Tanier said a couple weeks ago, arguing that they need to start him, "Either Goff is spectacularly unready, even by the standards of rookie quarterbacks, or the Rams have no idea how to properly develop him. Goff did not look spectacularly unready leaving Cal, no one on the Rams coaching staff has developed a quarterback in this millennium, and [Rams coaches have stated] that they won't change their offensive scheme (masterpiece that it is) to acclimate the rookie. So this mystery of whether Goff or Jeff Fisher's staff is the problem doesn't seem all that hard to solve."

I believe Fisher did draft Steve McNair though McNair did have the luxury of sitting for a year (IIRC).

That is a great analogy with Kirk Cousins. Just watching him on the HBO show earlier this year tells me it will take some great coaching to get this guy into NFL ready mode.

You will never get an apology out of me, as i was anti goff the entire time......I was correct here

I will also not apologize for being anti dak also. I liked Wentz, Lynch, and Hogan....i was wrong here
