Ok guys and gals. I don't know if I agree with congress getting involved with this issue. What I do know is that belicheat has been compromising the integrity of the game since 2000 and affecting the out come of some of the most important games. Yet he gets a $500,000 slap on the wrist? I am sorry but this as***** needs to sit out for an extended period of time. The Patriots for condoning his action need to forfiet their trophies and lose this years draft completely. I don't blame Goodell for his actions he works for these guys but this is going to blow up because he kissed the as*** of the Krafts.

I love the NFL and feel like Goodell has sabotaged the league by trying to whitewash the incident. His admissions that he knew that Belicheat had been cheating since 2000 and still did so little and then destroyed the evidence will back fire. I am sure that in the long run the only people to pay for this incident will be the fan. If Spector manages to get the anti-trust exemption re-visited, believe me all the trouble will be passed on to us.

Now maybe the Pats will be punished more severely. Everyone now knows how long they've been cheating; and if Goodell gives them another slap on the wrist, if Walsh has anything new to and/or and has evidence of them cheating in the Superbowl, there will be a backlash.
