This isn't another "OMG TO GOT CUT" thread. I'm for real talking about MOVING ON.

I think that everyone is forgetting all of the drama that TO brought to our locker room. I can remember a handful of months ago that we were all sick of the **** that went on. T.O. had EIGHT games (half the regular season) with less than 50 yards.

Don't get me wrong. I like T.O. He grew on me. I was totally against us signing him, but over the past couple of years I have enjoyed watching him play in a Cowboys uniform. The simple fact is, we can't afford to have a player that we love one day a week, and hate the other six.

I think that this cut makes an enormous statement to the entirety of the NFL and its fans. I am still a bit mixed on this whole idea, I've got part of me that loves watching the 40+ yard bombs between Romo and T.O., but to be totally honest, those are fairly few and far between as of this past year. The other part of me understands that there is probably a whole mess of stuff that has been quietly shoved under the rug that we don't even know about that JJ and the front office finally decided needed to be rectified.

In my opionion, if Crayton can speed up a little bit in the offseason (which I think he will, I have a feeling T.O. was holding him back [why push yourself when JJ is on his knees in front of T.O. and your HC doesn't have the balls to do anything except give JJ reacharounds?]), remember how to catch those clutch balls, and RW11 steps up to the plate and studies our playbook, we will be better off without T.O. RW11 will be big this year.

If we can manage to get ourselves a replacement at LG and a big fatty FB, I don't see why we can't just run other teams into the ground, and when they stack 8 in the box, sling it out to Witten, RW11, AUSTIN (hugely underrated, I see huge potential in this guy), and Crayton.

Why do we have to be a passing team? Why can't we be a nasty running team with immovable lines on both sides of the ball? That's OBVIOUSLY what wins championships more often than not. Please reminisce with me to the 1991-1995 Cowboys. Our line was ridiculous, and we jammed the ball down the other teams throat until they were ready to puke, and when they were throwing up, we hit them deep down the field.

Just thoughts going forward from here.

Well, in Wade's PC after the season ended he did say we need to rein in Romo and help him by running the ball more.

Well, words to that effect, at least.

I agree. I actually think Austin may be a better #2 speed WR opposite RW11, but we will see as the season gets here.

The OL is not even close to the early 90's Cowboy teams. And those teams were young and good. Today we have an older line that is average at best (Romo makes them look better than they are...). I think Felix Jones coming back may help more than anything. But we still need better offensive lineman.

The real question is what to do when Austin and Stanback get hurt and Crayton becomes the #2 and does his dissappearing act on the field.

I know its not popular to defend Crayton... and I'm not, but he did well as a #2 a couple years ago.... 50 catches 697yds 7tds... I'm just sayin'.

Personally, I think Crayton will do okay... as a #3... Austin or Hurd may beat him out anyway.

Like I said, I think Crayton will show up this year. Crayton wants to be a #1 WR, he knew he had no shot with TO here. Maybe he will work hard now to prove himself.

I have no issue with Crayton at #2 cause I never thought he was all that bad a #2 option to begin with. I'd like to upgrade, sure, but I am not hurt by him being there. I happen to like him. Throw Austin in that mix and i think the two of them can do just fine for us.

T.O. had an uncanny ability to be 5 yards past the deep DB for long catches. How in the hell did he do that when other really good receivers never do that?

T.O. also was very strong so he could knock down the little poonts on his way to the end zone. None of our WRs now are as big ,fast and strong as T.O.

1. RW11 better shed his lazy skin and start running sharp routes and not giving up on plays. Untapped potential - may be a star.

2. Crayton in solid all around but has limited upside due to his lack of speed and strength. Great at catching 4 yard 100mph bullets.

3. Miles has the ability to pull the T.O. "run past the DB" technique. His hands obviously have improved but when the ball is in the air you know you are holding your breath! :)

4. Hurd is so untested

5. Will Danny Amendildola make a return as the speedy slot guy? Maybe we can switch him with Welker and no one will notice.

This cutting of T.O. really brings a lot of questions, opportunities and hopeful excitement to the team, doesn't it ?

Crayton can be clutch...sometimes. But you can't deny that a reason Crayton had the looks was because of the double-coverage/attention TO took.

I was so mad last season I did not realize we lost Amendola off the practice squad.
