1st of all with a healthy full speed Parsons, the Cowboys are good enough to beat any team in the league. I feel that after the Eagle game they should rest Parsons and others to get ready for the playoffs. I think that 11 wins gives them the 5th spot and a healthy Parsons gives them a good shot at winning in the playoffs.Quinn needs to tell them that their best chance of winning is resting Parsons.

Quinn also will use these final 3 games to fix the secondary. It is a good thing that he has 3 games to work on this. Quinn has the credentials to do this. It will be interesting to see if he can pull it off. They have been working toward this with the 3 recent acquisitions to the team. It will be interesting to see if Quinn can be successful. He certainly was successful with Kearse and Bland and the rest of the current starters.

We will see how smart they are.

I think he will be playing middle linebacker for the next few games with LVE injury.

I don't know how true this was but I heard he had 10 pressures and a sack. He needs all the time he can get. He was healthy in that Eagles game and they exploited him. If his body can't hold up then maybe this isn't the position or career for him.
Its time to start peaking. Been past time. But now is the time to get ready for the playoffs. Don't go in limping.

Based on what I have seen of Parsons to date he should play exclusively as a pass rusher, primarily at DE and he should only play passing downs.

I'd like to see some backups getting snaps. It's time to get ready for the playoffs. We have guys that just need some playing time.

Players can only learn so much.
You have to have talent.
My main concern is the cornerback position.

It will be interesting to see if they rest him like I said. I think they certainly will rest him some. I think 2 games of rest would do the trick and Parsons would dominate the playoffs. I would give him at least 1.5 games of rest.

You are going to get a good look at the corner position over these last 3 games. I'm going to enjoy seeing what the guys that we haven't seen can do. I wonder which new guy will be out there this week?

I mean what's his issue? Its his groin isn't it? I think that's just going to be a nagging injury for him.

The issue is that he isn't 100%. His body is worn down and he needs rest. He is so good he keeps playing, but he would be the best player in the league if he was close to 100%. He would get that way with rest.

Wright and the other 3. I suspect that one of the veterans will get on the field. I don't know who Quinn will go with, but I am confident in Quinn. Have you studied the other 3. I think the one from Arizona played pretty good this year. You like free agents.

Parsons just had 10+ pressure game with
a sack and it was arguably our worst defensive outing of the year.

I’m totally cool resting guys as needed, but he’s not going to change the defense alone no matter how he plays.

I disagree with you. Once they get the 5 spot. He should rest.

if we get locked into the 5th i would rest just about everyone on defense simply because the injuries are piling up

And you think a week in between games isn't enough rest?
