1st of all with a healthy full speed Parsons, the Cowboys are good enough to beat any team in the league. I feel that after the Eagle game they should rest Parsons and others to get ready for the playoffs. I think that 11 wins gives them the 5th spot and a healthy Parsons gives them a good shot at winning in the playoffs.Quinn needs to tell them that their best chance of winning is resting Parsons.

Quinn also will use these final 3 games to fix the secondary. It is a good thing that he has 3 games to work on this. Quinn has the credentials to do this. It will be interesting to see if he can pull it off. They have been working toward this with the 3 recent acquisitions to the team. It will be interesting to see if Quinn can be successful. He certainly was successful with Kearse and Bland and the rest of the current starters.

We will see how smart they are.

We don't agree on much but you hit the nail on the head with this one. Couldn't agree more with this. That offense needs as many reps as possible but quite a few folks on that defense, especially Micah need some rest. You can tell many of them are just worn down

Resting them improves their chances in the playoffs.

He still has a chance to win DPOY so it’s hard to tell a guy like parsons to sit.

but I’d agree he needs to play lb some. Have him as an edge rusher only on 3rd downs.

I think he can be great at ILB as well.

I think if we play the eagles In the playoffs your gonna see him more at LB anyway. More useful than at end against a team like that

If you need to rest a player for that long then he is not good, a player should be able to play a full season, otherwise they should not get paid for a full season.

We need to beat Philly first. Make them have to play it out for seeding.

I'm sorry I have to disagree with that strongly? How long have you been watching the NFL? Do you realize what the game does to the players that play the game?

I agree and losing affects their confidence going forward along with the fact that their qb is now not healthy which will affect him.

Well....I agree they should rest Parsons a little bit but maybe do this by using him as the MLB while LVE is out. That alone would reduce some of the wear and tear of the 'chip-blocks' etc...let him chase down the RB's. I don't subscribe to the "take 3 weeks off" camp. It's not the way you want to build momentum heading into the tournament.

2 weeks or even 1.5.

So you are saying rest him the last 2 weeks? I mean that's obviously going to be a coach's decision because if you ask him I bet you know the answer.
