I'm not a conspiracist, but the refs could derail our success yet again

Like they derailed the Patriots last year after Brady's suspension? One well timed flag would've killed their comeback, and yet Goodell had to hand them the trophy.

By the way, everything before "but" was BS.

I'm not prepared to pass negative judgment upon DMC just yet. He's been good for us in the past but hasn't played in a while, so there's that to put him into question. I'm saying this despite being a legit Smith fan and would love seeing him get significant reps going forward. It's hard to say at this point if he's likely to be consistent blocking in the backfield to protect Dak, however. Hopefully, he's on the verge of breaking through that barrier. I do think the staff will take notice of how all three of our RBs perform and make some fair decisions based on helping the team, though.
I believe the Cowboys have 3 viable options in McFadden, Morris, and Smith. I'm okay with any of these three. Plus, there's probably a decent chance all three play anyway.

The best revenge is for Goodel to hand the SB trophy to the Dallas Cowboys....lets make this happen Cowboys!

How does this happen? The Cowboys unleash their secret weapon, a well rested experienced veteran with superior abilities including blockimg and catching. One that is also familiar with thw offense and offensive players especially the offensive line.

Morris will start the next game but McFadden will take it from there.

He is the forgotten man, the thousand yard rusher nobody talks about.
Rod Smith too.....he will surprise

I’m just not a big fan of older backs.

Unless your last name is Gore...running back js a young man’s sport. I would prefer to have a high upside mid round draft pick with some breakaway speed behind Zeke than a couple backs that would have a hard time finding another team if we cut them.

In my resrarch I discovered a general trend

You can find a productive back in any round. However, 1st Round picks typically have much longer careers with productuve seasons.

Of the ten seasons in which a RB, 32 years or older had a thousand yard season, 8 of them were 1st rounders. Five were top ten overall....like McFadden.

Beaides, they didn't put him on ice becauae Rod Smith was better, folks. He is still bihgwt, faster, and a far more accomplished reciever..

Just like they do sometimes in baaketball, the "dumb" coach kept the old veteran McFadden fresh just to make sure his age disn't become a stamina issue at the end of the season.

McFadden'a season will be 11 games. Elliot will not be in playoff shape and may not be ready to carry the load.

It could be that the real MVP of the season was the guy all the other NFL fans forgot.

Unfortunately, the Cowboys don't have full control of their destiny.

Technically, Dallas is still in control of their own destiny. They are 2 games begin the Eagles in the division, with 2 games remaining against them. If Dallas wins them both, they have the tiebreaker over Philly.

20 straight quarters (5 consecutive games) without a single holding call against our opponents..................meanwhile, Dallas had 5 hold calls just last game.

And people think this chit aint rigged:rolleyes:
I starting to come around on this NFL being rigged idea....just look at the 2 questionable calls (dez catch, brice butler rule) in the last 2 playoff games that killed this teams momentum that ultimately led to their demise.

If the older guys can't cut it, I think it's a good bet the staff will see it early-on. They'll all likely get their chances at first. Like they say, the cream has a way to coming to the top. It's probably not a stretch to say that Rod Smith is the closest thing we have to being a complete back. He'll be given his share of reps in the early going. I'm sure many of us think he'll acquit himself admirably. The reps and proving himself are due to come.

Like yourself, I'm hopeful that he'll show himself to be our best option. He'll get his chances to do just that with Zeke out of the picture for at least the next four to six weeks. The talent is there. The only question to be answered at this juncture is whether or not his current development is sufficient for him to carry the load mostly on his own. There's no doubt that he'll bear watching and that the staff will surely take notice.

Great example!!

Except, who said anything or gave any examples of what some could possibly see as a bias against the Pats?

What bs or archaic call has affected them in the past?
Something close to:
2014
1. Cobb’s clear drop and fast review.
2. Mathews spear on Romo close to 2 secs after the ball is released directly in front of ref.
3. Overturn of a ref’s call 3 ft from the Dez catch

2016
1. No packers’ holds
2. Archaic fake illegal sub penalty seen twice in 40 years.
3. Wrestling style double hold on stud Irving on final pass play

2017
1. No holds for 5 games and counting.

Again, many of us are alledging a bias exists. Not a conspiracy. I know that word really bothers you and I’m sorry it’s used.

Please tell me how every fan base says the same thing. Now tell them I said to provide exampleS.
