Going to a game this year- need hotel help

I have tickets for me and a few buddies to one of the Cowboys home games this year. I have a gazillion Marriott points, so I want to stay at a Marriott brand hotel. So, what would you recommend that will be reasonably close to the stadium & reasonably close to Dallas night life? Obviously we would like to stay in a good part of town as well. Any help is greatly appreciated.

La Quinta on Watson Rd. Free Shuttle to game and free breakfast. Can also walk to stadium if you choose.
