Going to be some sad campers, Big Mike probably back

If he cannot convince big and little enos to spend some money for a RB or Draft a couple good ones. If he cannot convince them to spend a little money on the D line or draft a few good ones....it will not make much difference.
yeah but no one can. They will draft a back though. Sure of it.

I thought this team quit on McCarthy, but clearly atleast the backups are. The convo with Jerry in thr locker room looked like a I want you back convo.

I feel like Dak is in the Romo echelon now where he’s separated from the team now. Like not a teammate. It was a strange vibe early this season
It was apparent in the playoff loss to GB.

I agree Rush isn’t better and the defense is better when Rush plays because they know points are usually at a premium so they have to lock in

With Dak they take risk because they know he can make up for it until he doesnt
The defense has been balling and a big part of the reason why we are winning. They are getting turnovers and making stops. At the beginning of the season our defense could rare force a team to punt or force a turnover.

Just remember, this team under MM had an NFL record 6 straight home games trailing by 20 or more points. Giving credit to a coach winning games when the season was over, just proves to me how much easier it is to coach and play when the season was over

Cause you all know that Jerry is going to use this as another excuse to not make the hard choice...and just resign Big Mike and probably on a discount.
30 years and counting....only win with no pressure but chokes in the playoffs

Not sure what’s dumber fans that want MM back or Jerry. Those that want MM back are giving credit to a coach that has had his team win 4 of 5 games after being 3-7 while ignoring the awful home playoff losses to SF and GB, then home losses by 30 plus to the saints philly baltimore and Detroit.

If you're disappointed in Big Mac, who you gonna call?

Booger made it clear when he hired him his criteria for head coach was someone with extensive head coach experience. Who is available that fits that bill?

Mike McCarthy does not deserve to be back. Sorry it doesn't change the fact how awful and unprepared this team has looked in the playoffs the past couple of years. It doesn't change all the awful blowout home losses early this year. Yeah we've fought, but that should't be the standard for this franchise. Just being competitive isn't going to win you a Super Bowl anytime soon.

The rest of our division is getting better, sticking with MM is just playing into the mediocrity. Next year will be another .500 year.

MM got embarrassed against GB, had early season embarrassing blowouts but NOW is trying hard. It’s so bizarre. It’s like Jerry’s never going to let us have nice things

I think he’s a good Coach. The playoff losses are inexcusable though. Not sure how I’d feel if Jerruh does bring him back? Reality says it won’t matter as long as Twiddle D & Twiddle Dumb are running this franchise.

Rush has looked better than Dak this season. I can’t make any excuses for #4.
Dak has always "fit the suit," insofar as traditionally (slavishly) relied-upon physical attributes go. However, such can be overrated, and can only take a man so far on the field. I suspect Rush has a better command of the workings of the offense, reads defenses better, and possesses a higher football "IQ" generally...not to mention a chill unflappability under pressure that our #4 does not. So, you make a decision as to whether you prefer the offense to be run by the taller guy with the better 40-time & vertical jump, or the dude with a better understanding of his surroundings. Significant trade-offs, either way, for sure. And I express no opinion here as to which QB I think is "better" - as that would beg the question: "Better at what?"

For any college basketball fans here, it reminds me of what we see each year come "March Madness" time. People are perenially amazed that a Harvard, a Princeton, or a Colgate can play a prohibitively-favored number one or two seed down to the wire. Nowhere near as big, fast or athletic...but they understand the game, their assignments...and their limitations. A lot to be said for that.

..well, its no biggie. He's a good coach. Get some good players in draft. And team healthy again.
along with new coaches. Well, be back in playoffs with another opportunity to get over hump.

It’s hard to argue with 4 of 5 with Cooper Rush at QB
We should be on a 5 game heater if it wasn't for #27 having a brain fart on an onside kick.....but that's on coaching too. Goes to show we have an issue @ QB.

Cause you all know that Jerry is going to use this as another excuse to not make the hard choice...and just resign Big Mike and probably on a discount.
Funny thing is......Jerry could give him a 3 year deal.....and it wouldn't matter much....because he could just as easily fire him the next year anyway....if things go bad again. Honestly....Jerry is in a no-win situation as it is. What Jerry needs to realize and be willing to accept is....there was a reason why he was let go in Green bay...and I think we all have seen why after 5 seasons. Why would Jerry put himself in the position to have to fire McCarthy...again? That's the real question people should be asking. And do you really believe this staff could win a Super Bowl? We have seen this McCarthy playbook. There are some more sophisticated HS offenses....that makes McCarthy's just look foolish. Nope....I have seen enough....Sticking with McCarthy again...would be like riding with Garrett for far too long....And look @ that regret. Don't take the bait Jerry....
