yeah but no one can. They will draft a back though. Sure of it.If he cannot convince big and little enos to spend some money for a RB or Draft a couple good ones. If he cannot convince them to spend a little money on the D line or draft a few good ones....it will not make much difference.
It was apparent in the playoff loss to GB.I feel like Dak is in the Romo echelon now where he’s separated from the team now. Like not a teammate. It was a strange vibe early this season
The defense has been balling and a big part of the reason why we are winning. They are getting turnovers and making stops. At the beginning of the season our defense could rare force a team to punt or force a turnover.I agree Rush isn’t better and the defense is better when Rush plays because they know points are usually at a premium so they have to lock in
With Dak they take risk because they know he can make up for it until he doesnt
30 years and counting....only win with no pressure but chokes in the playoffsCause you all know that Jerry is going to use this as another excuse to not make the hard choice...and just resign Big Mike and probably on a discount.
Yeah.You may be right.
I will say though. I actually had fun watching the game tonight. First time I’ve enjoyed a cowboys game since week 1.
Hell we didn’t make the playoffs going to finish 3rd in the division deserves it just because we beat some really bad team s and 2 decent teams and you think he has earned it come onMike has earned it.
Dak has always "fit the suit," insofar as traditionally (slavishly) relied-upon physical attributes go. However, such can be overrated, and can only take a man so far on the field. I suspect Rush has a better command of the workings of the offense, reads defenses better, and possesses a higher football "IQ" generally...not to mention a chill unflappability under pressure that our #4 does not. So, you make a decision as to whether you prefer the offense to be run by the taller guy with the better 40-time & vertical jump, or the dude with a better understanding of his surroundings. Significant trade-offs, either way, for sure. And I express no opinion here as to which QB I think is "better" - as that would beg the question: "Better at what?"Rush has looked better than Dak this season. I can’t make any excuses for #4.
We should be on a 5 game heater if it wasn't for #27 having a brain fart on an onside kick.....but that's on coaching too. Goes to show we have an issue @ QB.It’s hard to argue with 4 of 5 with Cooper Rush at QB
Funny thing is......Jerry could give him a 3 year deal.....and it wouldn't matter much....because he could just as easily fire him the next year anyway....if things go bad again. Honestly....Jerry is in a no-win situation as it is. What Jerry needs to realize and be willing to accept is....there was a reason why he was let go in Green bay...and I think we all have seen why after 5 seasons. Why would Jerry put himself in the position to have to fire McCarthy...again? That's the real question people should be asking. And do you really believe this staff could win a Super Bowl? We have seen this McCarthy playbook. There are some more sophisticated HS offenses....that makes McCarthy's just look foolish. Nope....I have seen enough....Sticking with McCarthy again...would be like riding with Garrett for far too long....And look @ that regret. Don't take the bait Jerry....Cause you all know that Jerry is going to use this as another excuse to not make the hard choice...and just resign Big Mike and probably on a discount.
