Don't pee on the Alamo. They will arrest you for that. :laugh1:

Freshman year of college.....this was the week of freshman orientation, a bunch of guys (who would later become good friends) and I were out partying. We were wasted.

We were walking around campus and me and one of my buddies had to piss. Badly. We found a building that had a nice pine tree next to it and we were able to sort of hide in it and peed on this building (which was adjacent to a major street in the city).....So we peed on the building. The next day; we discovered we had pissed on the Jesuit Resident Building.

Stay at the Marriott across the highway from training camp (I think it is the Marriott Riverwalk). Hang out in the lobby.

Get to the practices early and try to get on the first row.

Wish I could go sooo bad. I vowed that if it came back to Texas I would be there every year. We just don't have the money this year, we are saving pretty much every penny we have. Hope you have a great time. Bring back pictures!

show up an hour early and try and eat before you go or you'll dish out $10 per person at whataburger (inside the alamo dome)

$10 per person (at a minimum) to eat is pretty standard for what it costs to eat when you go out (sans fast food).

My first one too...I've been wanting to go since I was a kid. Is it fairly easy to get autographs? How many people usually show up on the weekday practices?

If you don't bring a video camera, we will all gang up on you, and beat you into a bloody mess, then drag you back to the field and make you take a video

You want autographs bring a kid with you in a Cowboys Jersey. Be among the first in line and run to the bleachers and get as close as the field as you can. Bring Sharpies (extra's) and things to sign. Mini-helmuts etc work great. If you want to get rookies to sign shout the name of their schools. When I was there during Jason Witten's rookie year I had my son hollar "Hey Tennessee". Witten was walking away at the time and turned back and said who said that. My son said he did and he came right over and signed my son's helmut. Also, bring some rope and you can hang the helmuts down in front of the players as they leave the stadium. Hang a Sharpie with it down there with it velcro'd to the item to be signed. Trust me it will work because I saw it work. Regarding food, the River Walk is overated but it edible. Nice Cowboys pro shop in the River Center Mall. A hotel within walking distance is the Red Roof inn downtown. Its probably a ten minute walk from the Dome, and also about a ten minute walk from the Alamo.

Last time at the alamodome, the tunnel they enter/leave the field, everyone crowded around those railings and dropped things down to the players. So grab a seat next to that tunnel if you want to be ready.

I'm here in San Antonio now, it's not too bad to figure out the layout, just Sea World is way out from downtown, but that's why I'm here early.

We don't have whattaburger in Wisconsin. Hence, me not knowing what it is.

And as far as fast food goes....

Popeyes > whattaburger.

Chicken + spicy mashed potatoes +biscuit = FTW
