Going to make the trip next year....

I have been a Cowboy fan for so long its crazy. I go back to the 70's watching all of my fav's as a kid. Anyway, I figured with me being from NYC and not Texas, it is only fitting that I make the pilgrimage to Texas Stadium. It think it is very important since they will be moving to the new stadium soon.

I told my wife that it is a life's mission to go and I will be there next season. Not sure what game but I know I will be coming for the long weekend.

Just thought I might as well share this with you guys.

You have to go, I remember my first trip to Texas Stadium and it was one of the most memorable experiences I have had.

Didn't hurt we hammered the Commanders while I was there too.

My wife doesn't understand why it's so important to go. I told her that I watched this team from Roger Staubach/Morton, Too Tall, Harvey, Manster, Tony, Cliff and Charlie, Drew and Preston etc....My favorite was Newhouse though. Loved him.

I cried tears when we would lose. Now I just get upset and beat up the pillows on the couch. Think I like crying better. I just couldn't think of a better trip than to spend a long weekend in Texas with the boyz.

I will be getting a hotel, car and plan to do the town and top it off with a nice game.

I think it is only right given how long I have been watching them.
