Going to my first game on Sunday

Never been to Jerry's world so I have no idea what the environment there is. Every game I've been too over the last 5 years has been away games.

Do you have good seats?

Don't be influenced by the passive fans around you, cheer for your team like you are in the bleachers @ Wrigley, but not too loud on offensive pre-snaps.
My father and step-mother invited my wife and I, Were huge Cowboys fans but they are Bears fans...Im going to be LOUD!!!

Seriously. Stand up the entire time we are on defense and YELL. If anyone tells you to sit down, tell them to stand up; this isn't the opera. If a problem persists, remind them there is a damn video of Irvin before the game encouraging everyone to be loud.

Also, get drunk.

Does anyone have any recommendations or tips? Thanks in advance!!!

Don't get seats in the area under the over-hang from the section above. They have Rock concert speakers about 6 inches from your head and you won't even be able to hear the crowd over Miley Cyrus at 200 decibels.

Get there early and check out either the tailgating scene and/or the stadium well before the game starts.

Take Uber or a shuttle/bus or park as far away as possible. You can get stuck in traffic for a very long time if you are in some of the closer lots. If you can tailgate yourself, then ignore this comment, but I wouldn't plan on tailgating your first time. Just go by and BS with some of the veteran tailgaters.

Any section between the 20s is better than a lower section in the endzone (i.e. The back seat of the 4th level on the 40 yard line is better than the front row of level 1 in the endzone).

Some people I know seem to miss the experience to some extent because they drink too much alcohol. Moderation is better in this situation. Also drinks at the stadium are super expensive. I've heard they charges less for drinks at some Super Bowls than Jerry charges.

Im watching the A&M game right now and it seems to be alot louder than when we play on Sundays. Ive been to two Cotton Bowls and the experience was amazing, I hope my first game will be memorable and end with a win.

Unfortunately, it'll be raining tomorrow, so the tailgating won't be what it normally is. We tailgate pretty hard here. I was going to just go and tailgate, then watch the game in the parking lot. Nobody wants to bring their TVs out.

Whatever you do don't stand up and cheer. Somebody will yell at you.... seriously. Still can't believe this happened to me in 4 out of 5 games I've been to in Dallas

I hope that didn't stop you.

I had great experiences with fans around my wife and I...enjoy. Don't forget to watch the plays live.

Don't forget the game is live, it is really easy to get enamored with that HUGE flat screen.

If you run into J Garrett on the way in, tell him to open up the offense.

Seriously though, get there early and wander around... There's a Lot to see in that place.
